"Overall, it was a great experience. The staff were mature and enthusiastic, and we had two private camp safaris daily, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, which were very well-organized. My only minor feedback is that the driver's knowledge of animal locations could be improved, as one entire afternoon safari was spent mostly observing birds. The hotel's three meals were very substantial. I would definitely choose this place again if I visit South Africa in the future."

"We have mixed feelings about Jock Safari Lodge. It purports to be a luxury lodge and whilst our room was comfortable and quiet we felt it needed a refresh, there was a big stain on one of the chairs and the outside cushions/ chairs etc. were not much better. The plunge pool was certainly not up to standard with peeling paint and a rotten wood surround, not at all inviting. The main areas of the lodge were very rustic (nothing wrong with that), but it all looked as if it had seen better days and in our opinion was not of a luxury standard. More attention to detail required. The gardens were however well tended to. We saw the big five, but the animals were a little scarce and whilst our guide did his best to find them, it was all a little disappointing. There was a lot of driving up and down the main road, with excursions on the smaller side roads, but as it is not a private game reserve the guide is not able to follow the animals into the bush itself. The food was very good and a lot of effort was put in by the friendly staff to make each evening different. The staff saved it from being an underwhelming visit. Thank you to all of them. We enjoyed our stay, but it was not up to the standard we expected from a lodge with this reputation."

"I recently travelled to Kruger & stayed at Mulawa Lodge with my cousin as part of a tour group. The lodge was fantastic & such a beautiful place to stay! Bush tent 10 was definitely the winner! The views were amazing & being amongst the Likweti Wildlife Reserve with the roaming Giraffes, Nyala, Zebra & many birds was a very memorable experience. The staff were wonderful & the food was delicious! Many options for Gluten Free people like me! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & were very sad to be leaving. 3 nights was not enough! I will definitely be back one day! Thank you to the team for an excellent trip!"

I also love the little baggage wagons strategically placed on every floor. It was winter but I will be back to use the full length swimming pool in the summer!"

"Matkalla lastenlapsemme vierailla panoramareitti ja haluaa pysyä erillisinä (mutta vielä yhdessä) rommissa, valitsen "Villan" Bambuun järven Lodge. Lodge istuu haudattu järven hiljaisella paikalla Hazyview ja Sabie. Huoneistot ovat paikattomasti puhtaat, keittiö ja palvelu ovat erinomaisia. Monet valinnot valinnassa, jopa tiheä huippukausi (ei niin monet vieraat). Lämmin tervetuloa johtaja ja henkilöstö. Nieman uima-allas. Villa on hyvin tilava ja hyvin sijoitettu. Vaikka tunsimme, että "oven sisäänkäynti" kylpyhuone (kauniisti sisustettu) ja WC sisällä hyötyisi yksityisyyttä vieraille."
