I end up in Umlani Bushcamp because a friend of mine has stayed there a couple of years ago. It is an unfenced camp in the Timbavati reserve. the facility is essential, in order to reduce the filter to the wildlife, but you have a lot of comfort, such the pool, the free drinks and excellent meals. I stayed there for 4 days. My guide was Elvis. I got lucky to see a lot, leopards, cheetah, lions, elephants, wild dogs, buffalos, rhinos, hyppo, zebra, giraffas, baboons, Hyenas, etc. etc. They are incredibly helpful and understanding. I wanted to sleep on the treehouse, but I had some concern in being there alone all by myself ( I was traveling solo) and somebody came with me to reassure me. The day of departure I was in tears because I did not want to leave the place, so will definitely come back, not sure when. It was a magic place, that brought me closer to the wild nature and also closer to my inner self.
