Sabie River Bush Lodge

I booked the place to celebrate my husband's birthday. On check in we met a guy by the name of Welcome who didn't treat us well. We were allocated a very small room 5, with one chair and by the corner. We requested to change it, he refused and say all rooms are occupied. We sat outside the room on the ground until late because it was small and the aircon wasn't working. After he tried several times to fix the Aircon without success,he finally moved us to room 4 which was spacious, had two chairs without even an apology and it was 22:45 by that time. We were tired from driving . He's behaviour was unacceptable . We decided to cancel the accommodation and look for a better place so that we can celebrate his birthday without any stress.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für den Kruger. Von der Terasse lassen sich erste Tiere am Wasserloch beobachten. Internet nicht gut.

Relax and enjoy, close to Kruger gates. Very pleasant staff. To stay close to the river , watching the animals and cool down in the pool. We were surprised by it all. I could recommend it to every one.

Frühstück mit Nilpferden Tolle Unterkunft am Sabie River mit Blick auf eine Nilpferdherde. Nett eingerichtete Zimmer und super organisierter Game Drive von der Lodge. Auch im „Winter“ sehr zu empfehlen.

Beautiful views This is a magnificently situated lodge, with wonderful views over the Sabie River to the Kruger. We had elephant, hippos and otters entertaining us. The staff are wonderful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Abbiamo alloggiato due sere in due lodge diversi perché in due date diverse. Due camere con un salotto enorme e terrazza vista fiume Kruger eccezionale. La ciliegia sulla torta sarebbe stata vedere da lì degli animali ed invece un ippopotamo si è mimetizzato subito. Avrei gradito trovare un piccolo frigorifero nella zona caffè e che i condizionatori fossero stati meno rumorosi ma la cosa non ha rovinato nulla e ci tornerei anche subito. Colazione e cena semplici ma buoni. Personale cortese e mai invadente. Si capisce che i proprietari ci tengono molto e lo curano con passione. Bravi continuate così e regalate un sogno ad vostri clienti.
