Motswari Private Game Reserve by Newmark

Just arrived home from Motswari it really was the perfect place for our safari experience, Food is spectacular Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming It’s very intimate as only serves a small amount of guests so you get that personal touch from all the staff & amenities The lodge was perfect Super clean and comfortable Our guide Hayden is an asset to the reserve so knowledgeable & interesting he made our safari so very special he’s an incredible guide we were very lucky to have had him We saw everything & more than we dreamt we would.

Absolutely incredible place. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious and varied. My wife is dairy intolerant and they made a huge effort in preparing her suitable food and alternative milk for coffee & cereals. The game drives were excellent. The Ranger and tracker, Joshua and Difference, were awesome. So knowledgeable and explained things so well. Importantly, they were open to questions on the animals and also the local environment. We managed to see the Big 5 x2, plus loads of other animals in the park. They managed to get us so close, but were very thoughtful on the animals welfare. Accommodation was good, though the rooms were a little dark. Don't know if this was for less consumption of electricity? The mixture of meal venues around the main lodge was nice as to was the evening meal out in the bush. Brilliant 4 nights, well looked after and great drives out in the bush.

Our first safari was an amazing experience, thanks to our guide Lola and our tracker Mr T. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who were so warm and friendly. Everyone of the Team went above and beyond. Lodges were excellent and the food was amazing. The chef came to us each meal and explained what she had prepared for my wife, who has a serious allergy. The safaris were excellent and the knowledge of Lola and Mr T, were extremely valuable and informative. Saw the Big 5 and lots of other animals and birds.

Stayed for 4 nights with a friend the last week of January, and can’t wait to go back! This was the experience of a lifetime, and everyone at Motswari helped to make it so, from all the staff (extra props to Jan & Dee!) to the cooks with AMAZING food and all the accommodations to dietary needs. We were especially impressed with our Guide & Tracker Team: Rudolph & Lot… without a doubt the A +++ Team! They went ABOVE & BEYOND the call of duty, prioritizing what folks wanted to see, tracking leopards on foot, getting creative, & always making it fun & informative. You can tell they love what they do, and are true professionals at it. We saw practically everything we wanted to see and more. I never thought I’d love waking up at 4:45am but Motswari changes you :) I also loved their focus on conservation, that really shines through. Don’t think twice and book here, you will not regret it!

We stayed here in January , accommodation is extremely comfortable and spacious with view over the river. Game drives twice a day -we couldn’t have had a better guide and tracker ( Hayden and Patrick) friendly informative and adventurous , couldn't want better. We will return .

Een gezellige , familiale lodges . Personeel super vriendelijk, lekker eten in overvloed en lekkere wijntjes . De game-drives met Hayden waren top , 24 jaar maar een top gast ! Zeer goede bedden en nette kamer . In badkamer zijn douche en wc volgens mij aan vervanging toe .
