Leopard Sands, Kruger Park

The staff are excellent! Everyone is simply the nicest people you will ever meet. MCNeil, KJ and Pastor at the front desk are helpful and prompt. David and Cossy in the restaurant are so attentive. And our game drive Jimmy was amazing. Almost everyone knows you by name. While we had a wonderful stay, there are a few things I would change. The rooms really aren’t suitable for families or traveling friends. The room is very open to include the bathroom, so my travel companion had to wait outside while I showered and vice verse. A shower curtain would help a lot. The food is delicious but also so fancy and rich. By day 5 I was craving a burger and fries. The mini bar in the room is not refreshed automatically - I guess you have to ask? I am not sure but I don’t like to bother or inconvenience so I didn’t say anything, but would be nice for things to be automatically replenished upon use.

The staff is incredibly friendly, accommodations are high end, and the small size ensures super personal service. I would highly recommend this place for families. This one of our new favorite Marriott properties now and we’d definitely come back.

Location spettacolare , personale preparato e molto accudente , la guida del Safari ci ha portato su strade sterrate e fatto percorsi per incontrare più animali possibili . Esperienza da sogno nonostante il mio scarsissimo inglese …. grazie alla disponibilità di chi si spiegava in ogni modo . Cucina al top per ogni palato .Camera con vista sulla riserva con ippopotami sempre presenti .

Wonderful stay! Very well run property and excellent employees. The food was amazing and the game drives well organized. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable with the best part being serenaded by Hippos when sitting on the balcony between drives! Well done to the Leopard Sands team!

Where you stay makes all the difference, and Leopard Sands – Kruger Park (Marriott) was beyond amazing. This intimate resort has just 18 thatched-roof cottages, and during our stay, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. From our room, we enjoyed stunning views of the Sabie River, the park, and wildlife right outside our window. Nights were magical—sleeping under a canopy of mosquito netting, listening to the sounds of nature. One evening, we were treated to a traditional African Boma dinner, complete with a performance by a local youth dance group. The staff made us feel so welcome and pampered us with meals that could rival any Michelin-star restaurant. Leopard Sands - Kruger Park was everything we hoped it would be and more. Dreams really do come true!

The most luxurious vacay right on the steps of Kruger. From the inviting bathtub to the scrumptious food, breathtaking views and absolutely incredible hospitality, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . We had the best honeymoon ever and wish to go back soon !
