James Vignoble Hôtel, Eguisheim

This is a super hotel. Mona is very helpful and it has great facilities. Only downside is that the spa facilities and pool don’t have railings to enter and exit the water which is a problem for people with mobility issues . Otherwise good for people with mobility issues

Très chouette découverte de cet hôtel à 2 pas du centre d’Eguisheim! Personnel très chaleureux et accueillant! Grand merci particulier à Mouna à la réception qui est d’une grande gentillesse et à l’écoute de nos attentes! Et aussi à Olivia au bar de l’hôtel, qui sait écouter, partager tout en restant discrète et professionnelle! Chambre rénovée top et garage souterrain très accessible, on ne peut que recommander!

Chouette séjour dans cet hôtel bien situé proche de beaucoup de villes. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une chambre surclassée, on ne pouvait donc qu’être content. Hôtel propre et calme. Personnel sympathique. Beau parking pour la voiture. Espace piscine, jacuzzi et sauna très agréable (le sauna est un tonneau en bois dans le jardin avec vue sur les vignes) top 👍 Seul bémol, le petit déjeuner qui est bof… les places sont chers. L’espace est petit et il faut faire la file à la machine à café (longtemps). Il n’y a pas de crémant ou de saumon comme on a déjà pu en avoir ailleurs dans un petit déjeuner hôtel 4****. On est assis trop les uns à côté des autres… certains devaient s’assoir au bar car plus de place dommage. Merci à Mouna à l’accueil pour sa gentillesse!

Wir haben das letzte freie Zimmer erwischt, es war ein Brückenwochenende und überall sehr voll. Von aussen sehr modern und einladend. Das Zimmer eine grosse Enttäuschung. Im alten Trakt ein kleines in die Jahre gekommenes Zimmer.Winziges Bad:kein Rasierspiegel, kein WCRollenhalter, keine Haken um irgendwo etwas aufzuhängen. Keine Heizung im Oktober. Steckdose am Bett ohne Funktion, smartphone konnte nicht geladen werden und Information für wlan und Hotelinfo FEhlanzeige. Teekoche hatte auch keinen Strom. Ich habe am Boden eine funktionierende Steckdose gefunden. Um 18 Uhr musste ich an der Reception suchen,um Hilfe zu finden um das wlan zu nutzen. Keine Bademäntel und Badetaschen für evtl.Poolnutzung. Also für ein 4Star Hotel meiner Meinung nach ein NO GO

The hotel appears to have a really new ‘James’ style interior in the common areas we saw, for example the bar and the small seating area. We had high hopes for our visit as we have for some years stayed at the James boutique in Colmar which we love. However this hotel seems to be made up of a before and after. Unfortunately our room was the before (also the reception area with the dated counter and carpet). Our room had been decorated and a new carpet laid, however everything else was old and worn, the bathroom was not clean, with mould and broken tiles, the old bath was damaged, the shower rail did not control the shower head meaning water went in all directions and pooled down the outside of the bath onto the floor. The extract fan in the bathroom did not work so it just stayed humid and damp not a good place to try to dry your hair with the hairdryer fixed inside. The shower screen was old and the seal was of no use,the toilet seat was broken and the toilet roll holder and brush were really disgusting. The towel sets - one was disintegrating and weeping fluff and bits all over when being used to dry the other smelled stale. The bedroom room showing wear on the dated desk and the drinks opener ‘chained’ to the cupboard, the lighting was dated and so were the internal doors and fittings. The carpet although newly laid had come apart from the wall. The wall’s although newly painted still have 3 old hooks painted over. The bedside table lamps have stained shades. The only nod to the new was the side table and chair, curtains and the desk chair. What a disappointing and sad greeting it was for us. The manager replaced the towels which although of a low quality were clean. The two staff were helpful and pleasant. If the room is priced accordingly to the standard then this should be made clear on the booking site , however even if the room was out dated everything should and must be clean and in good working order.

DO NOT stay in room 110, it has been water damaged on several occasions and the hotell does not care when you stay there and it happens again. They dont even give you your money back just expect you to sleep in a waterdamaged room, so appauling. and offer a compensation on your next stay, not at all the right way to deal with otherwise happy customers. Staff was friendly and pool nice
