After a couple of stays last year, I decided it was time to put this hotel on the DO NOT STAY list. I was displeased with their over-priced rooms and their “stale” brown-bag-breakfast. And, the owner wasn’t exactly the kindest person on the property… Yesterday, because of unexpected traffic setbacks, I “had” to stay there. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Georgia, whom was working the front desk while training a young man. I remembered Georgia from my first visit to this property. In fact, Georgia’s awesome customer service was the reason for my second stay at this hotel. Unfortunately for me, she wasn’t working the front desk during my second visit. Had she been working, I would not have put this hotel on my DO NOT STAY list… Georgia walked her trainee thru the checkin process and in a couple of minutes, I was in my clean, comfortable, hotel room. Georgia added that last month, the hotel was bought by a new group and that the new owners are so nice and courteous to (not only the customers, but to) everyone; including all hotel employees. This morning’s breakfast at this hotel was delicious and contained a great variety. Georgia, (and the obvious changes) have restored my trust in this location. I’m adding it to the top of my list of places to stay, while in the area!
