I’m really sorry to hear that your experience with the welcome amenity wasn’t what you expected. Just to clarify, honey doesn’t actually expire in the traditional sense, and the "best before" date on the label is more about optimal freshness. I understand that you didn’t enjoy the gift, and I’m truly sorry that it didn’t meet your expectations. Unfortunately, the jar was part of a batch that had the same Best Before date, so my colleague wasn't able to provide you with another welcome gift. I’m also sorry to hear that you found the cleaning provisions to be below your expectations. We provide weekly cleanings, which is standard for stays of 7 days or longer. For guests staying less than a week, we are more than happy to provide additional cleaning services upon request, and I’m sorry if this wasn’t communicated clearly during your stay.Your comfort is very important to us, and we’ll work to ensure that expectations are better set for the future. I'm happy to see that you had an overall good experience at Eden 😄 I can see that you liked the setting of your room as well as our very privileged location right at the heart of Edinburgh's New Town.I'm sorry to hear that you had some trouble communicating with our team. At the Front Desk we do our best to communicate with our guests and when we have language barriers we try to make use of different online options such as translators to communicate efficiently. I am truly sorry if it was a bit of a struggle. I can also see that you mention that we do not offer daily cleaning of our rooms. We only offer a clean through the stay for those guests who are staying for longer than 7 days. The thought behind this is to give our guests more autonomy and so they are not disturbed by Housekeeping. However, if you would like to arrange this service we are more than happy to provide it for an additional fee.
