Had a wonderful stay at the Inner Banks Inn & would definitely go back & stay there again. Great start to the day having conversation with Teric at breakfast each morning. The town of Edenton is very unique & quaint. Quiet little place not too many know about.

Great visit to Edenton while staying in a wonderful historic home. Grounds were very well kept and clean. staff was very kind, attentive to our needs and made us feel at home. Home is centrally located and has plenty of parking. The shops and sound are within walking distance as well.

Truly an excellent B&B! Our British sports car club (Classic MG's) booked the entire Inn for two nights. We had a fantastic welcome reception for 50 people in their Courtyard and Dining room with heavy hors d'oeuvres and a bartender that was outstanding! The staff and owner could not have been more accommodating! Made to order breakfasts in the mornings were terrific.

Really nice accommodations and really nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious. An easy walk to downtown. A wonderful front porch to sit and watch the town or just to sit and talk. Will definitely return, already trying to plan a family get together here

I never write reviews but feel compelled as this still bothers me. We had a nice stay for a weekend in the Fall, then on our way to the airport to fly home, we immediately realized several (pricey) articles of clothing were accidentally left in the wardrobe drawer, so we called the inn right away, as we didn’t have enough time to turn back. At the time we felt confident the inn would return the clothes to us, at our expense of course since it was our mistake, and our experience thus far had been good. We even spoke to someone at the desk who was going to check with housekeeping and call us back. Never received a call. Multiple calls to the inn, multiple messages left, no response over several weeks. Being persistent, I eventually got a person on the phone, who simply stated nothing had been turned into lost and found. So apparently we are out of luck and several hundreds of dollars worth of clothes. What was a good experience was turned bad because of the dishonesty.

Our stay at the Inner Banks Inn was great, the accommodations, breakfast, and staff were excellent. This was our first visit to Edenton and the staff gave us information of where to visit and eat. I highly recommend the massage therapist. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable of local history. We will definitely stay at the Inner Banks on future visits.

I want to be fair about my review. I think the house and grounds were beautiful. As for our room, I was very disappointed. Our bed was hard as a rock and we both had backaches when we got up. The chairs in the room were very uncomfortable and the room was very hot at night. We could not find a thermostat to turn it down. At night, light poured around the door frame to our room which interfered with our sleep. We paid for two nights but decided to leave after one night because our room was so uncomfortable. Perhaps if I stayed in a different room I would have a different opinion. Breakfast was mediocre - most places like this usually offer muffins and fruit for breakfast. I got three blueberries and a half a strawberry.

My wife and I stayed here for her birthday. We stayed in the Main house. From the time we arrived until we left, the staff was helpful and friendly. Our breakfast was delicious and beautiful in the wonderful front dining room. The town of Edenton proved to be just as wonderful and friendly. There are several great options for dining out. From pub like to fine dining, all you have to do is ask. You will get a well-informed, friendly response. Thank you, Amy, for making our stay such a great experience.

I always enjoy a stay at the inner banks inn. The rooms are well decorated and spacious. The staff is what makes the stay so enjoyable, they are welcoming and will do everything to make your stay the best it can possibly be. Breakfast is always yummy and it is a great location
