Sutan Raja Kotamobagu

The one and only 4 star hotel in kotamobagu. Pemandangan alam yg asri dr jendela kamar.

Good location, the hotel quite nice getting old need a bit works on especially the bathroom drainage and hot water system not working properly otherwise all good.

If staying in Kotamobagu I would certainly say to stay here, staff are very helpful and it’s clearly the best hotel in the area. That said the WiFi was awful on the 4th floor, I did ask at reception if anything could be done about it. They advised somebody would come to my room, that was the last I heard about it. Breakfast is fine, but if the hotel is busy you need to be there early as they do seem to run out of food. The restaurant outside of breakfast wasn’t great, I had a cheeseburger which was really poor and Mie Bakso which was also not good. I ordered the soup in the restaurant and after 30 minutes (with nobody else there) I asked where my food was. They then went into the kitchen and brought it to me, clearly having forgotten all about it. The room was a good size, and clean. Housekeeping were polite and efficient. There is a store outside and a decent place to eat called Strawberry Cafe.
