Dancing Bears Inn

We booked this hotel in April 2024. They charged my card twice. I asked them to reverse one of the charges and they said they would… But they did not. I ended up having to report them as a disputed charge. Then six months later they charge my card again, this time I had to report them as frauds. do not stay here.

Do not ruin your vacation to Glacier National Park by booking room(s) at this poor excuse for lodging. Any photos you might find online are so deceiving... no way does it look anything like the actual motel. The rooms were sad and tired and NOT clean. If I could award this motel no stars I certainly would. Also, beware... they try and go by the name "Grand Glacier...

This place is the worst I’ve ever stayed in, by far! The outside was dilapidated and overgrown with weeds, and strewn with litter. The cabins were rotting, and some of the outside furniture was broken. It looks closed, or like it should be condemned! The curtains in my room didn’t close all the way and anyone could see right in. I stripped the second bed, which revealed a nasty, stained mattress, and hung the sheets over the bent curtain rod for privacy. All of the lampshades were so dirty they looked fuzzy. The blinds in the bathroom and sink area were so dirty they appeared brown. I refused to bring my luggage into the room for fear that I’d take bugs home, or there would be rats in my room at night and I would need to leave quickly. There was no other place to stay in town! The bathroom sink was dirty. I had to use a pillowcase for a table cover on the nightstand because it was so dirty. Doors were scratched and dented, and the connecting door was so flimsy that, even locked, I could push it and see into the next room. Bathroom floor was filthy and the toilet leaked. Cracked walls and ceiling. No coffee maker or microwave. There was a full size refrigerator that was scratched and dented and looked like a reject from someone’s house. Worst thing was I was charged more than $685 for three nights, but the rooms rent now for $53 per night. Management does not answer emails and phone messages. I left my camera battery and charger there and have emailed them twice with no answer. I even offered to pay shipping if they send it back to me, but no response.

Dirty floors and shower. Broken TV. No bedside tables. Cheap mattress. For $269 per night, I expect more. Best thing I can say is that the WiFi works and a room was available… Wonder why. Most depressing hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I do not recommend staying here. It’s the same price as the East Glacier Lodge, for god’s sake. Stay there instead!

The ladies running the Inn were wonderful. We were leaving before they opened for coffee so they gave us a ziploc with filters & grounds. Our room was very clean and spacious, bed & pillows were comfortable but we couldn't get the tv to work. No worries tho, we were tired from a long day of driving. The only bad thing was parking and the lack of it. Would recommend this over all 3 little motels in this area.

New linen clean & tidy. Management had superior customer service!!!!! It is as if you were staying in a boutique motel. The wood walls are exceptional and satin sheets to boot. They even have rooms with kitchenettes at affordable rates. Each room is like a mini cabin. They even except pet, I felt well taken care of. The staff helped me with directions. If you are to book a motel for visiting Glacier National Park this is the spot. Despite the reviews in the past a lot of work has been done for this year.
