On arrival, there was no booking. Cancelled dates, however, were located by reception. The dates booked was arrive 11th and check out on the 12th . This booking had been changed and trip.com sent confirmation. This had not been recorded. not the fault of the Wellington, but yours. Receptionist was able to retrieve payment for 10th. There is still another payment that has been taken from our account. I was promised this would be refunded in 10 to 14 days. I will be waiting for this. Fortunately, there was one room vacant and we did have a bed for the night. I will not be using trip.com for any further bookings.
The Wellington is in need of some updating. Chairs in room were average. Mattress should be replaced. Showers should be updated. The Tv would not connect to any free to air channels without major interference. Luckily Netflix worked. Providing a continental breakfast for over nighters would be appreciated and hopefully a restaurant will be reinstated.I have been staying there occasionally for twenty-two years and see the detioration of what was/ could be a four-star accommodation.
