Dorado Eagle Beach Hotel

El apartastudio muy bonito, tiene su baño amplio (con múltiples toallas, jabón de manos, cuerpo, shampoo de Aruba Aloe), tiene un comedor de dos puestos, una cama cómoda, un nocheros, sofá, y dos armarios. Tiene su cocina - nevera amplia y grande, estufa electrica con dos hornillas, cafetera, microondas, platos, vasos y cubiertos, y dos ollas para cocinar (me pareció muy completo) y jabón para lavar platos (muy importante). Un plus, es la señora del aseo, todos los días arrimaba para recoger la basura de la cocina y el baño. Todo muy limpio y en buen estado. Otro plus, te prestan sillas y toallas para llevar a la.playa. Es importante resaltar que diagonal al hotel está el Anapominimarket (dónde podrás conseguir todo lo necesario para tu estadía - comida, bebidas, y aseo personal), y al lado del.hotel está el restaurante Zucchini (para cenar) lo recomiendo. La parada del bus está por el hotel Quintana (buscar un letrero amarillo y banca para sentarse) para ir a palmar beach, y la parada de bus para ir a Oranjestad ( está por el hotel costa linda - hacia el sur) o al frente del restaurante screaming eagle.

Great location, 1 block to Eagle Beach and good restaurants. Good price. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean with good quiet air conditioning . Nice to have use of beach chairs and towels. HOWEVER, there was no hot water, or cold water, only lukewarm! The pool area was dismal - all cement or brick, leaves in the pool which was not cleaned for the 4 days we were there, some lounge chairs were broken, cushions were dirty. Unfortunately there was major noisy construction all around the hotel. Also be aware that all the rooms are on the second floor with no elevator. And it was very hard to find since the streets are not labeled. The address implies it’s on a main road, but it’s actually on a side street, down the block from the Screaming Eagle restaurant.

This is an excellent, no-frills, family owned hotel. Besides keeping our room spotless clean during the duration of our stay, this hotel provided fresh, clean beach towels everyday along with quality beach chairs. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. Check-in was 3pm (I think) but we arrived very early and were able to get into our room at about 10:30 am. This is a low budget hotel which is great for anyone coming to Aruba on a minimal budget. There are just 10 modest rooms on the 2nd floor, above reception/lobby and Zucchini’s restaurant. You can cook your meals in the room, BBQ by the pool, or make a reservation at the restaurant. Generally, the hotel was very quiet even though it is surrounded by various construction projects. There isn’t an elevator, so you need to be prepared to take stairs to your room. We stayed in room 3. The room was clean and spacious, but modest and quite dated. There was a very old, small, very low, well worn orange sofa in the room. There are no balconies, but there is one shared balcony across front of the building. The shower water pressure was extremely low. It is best not to shampoo your hair, or you will never be able to get the soap out. The pool area is very quiet – almost too quiet, with plenty of outdoor seating areas (pergolas/gazebo). There is no music, or speakers, in the pool area. The pool itself is very small and no one swam, or used the pool, during the 2 days we stayed there Zucchini restaurant forms part of this business and the property seems to come alive with music during the hours that the restaurant is open (6pm to 9:30pm, closed Saturdays). Zucchini’s restaurant appears to be a well known, go to, establishment! We didn’t know about the restaurant before we arrived, otherwise we would have made reservations. They were fully reserved when we were there; however, we were able to order a takeout serving of soup which they graciously delivered to our room for us. Dorado Eagle Beach Hotel is slightly off the beaten path but the beach is just a short walk away, and there is still lots to explore within walking distance. A few other nearby restaurants are Screaming Eagle, Peruvian, Terrazza Italiana, Chalet Swisse, Passions, and Coco Loco Beach bar. The hotel is also reasonably close to Super Food.

The room was spacious and clean with a nice kitchenette and a good shower. Eagle Beach was a short walk away. The attached restaurant was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. There wasn't much of a supermarket in the area.

We stayed for 8 days last month. At first, we a little disappointed, the room looked tired and worn. The couch wasn't able to be sat on. Luckily the room was very clean. Location is excellent 5–7-minute walk to Eagle Beach, plus they offer beach chairs and towels to use. Zucchini Restaurant is located at this hotel, food was fantastic a must go to. Pool area is lacking but when EB is minutes away, we made the best of it. Staff was super informative, communications during reservation process was good and the place is very responsible priced. Mimi market across street had everything you need and good price, no need to go to Super Foods. Hopefully the rooms will get updated, but otherwise if on a budget it's worth the trip.
