Bucuti & Tara Boutique Beach Resort - Adult Only

Bucuti is a very special place! In addition to the gorgeous beach, spacious and clean rooms, and exceptional concierge services, it provides a welcoming and peaceful “home away from home” ambience. We were greeted each day at breakfast by the lovely Margarita and Natasha. Their welcoming manner and exceptional service was greatly appreciated and made our stay truly memorable. Alejandre provided outstanding service at our Romantic Dinner on the beach. The food, ambience, and personal attention was superb. This was the second time that we have enjoyed the Romantic Dinner at Bucuti. Highly recommend! Bucuti is so much more than a resort, it is a place of tranquility which beckons a return visit.

If you want a great setting, relaxation, great lounge chairs with umbrellas’s the pool is so clean and so refreshing. It is an adult only resort which is very appealing to us as our kids are older. The room comes w a huge breakfast spread which is amazing. While we were there they were some renovations which did not bother us at all. There are a couple of other resorts on either side with some other restaurants which were great. As Elements could use an updated menu, the staff from housekeeping to maintenance is top notch. Can’t wait for next year!

For our 30th wedding anniversary, my wife & I had a wonderful 5-night stay at Bucuti & Tara. First, the beach is so beautiful with its white sand & the aqua colored ocean waters, & from what I can see, we it’s the best beach in Aruba. The beach chairs are perfectly spaced out for some privacy & noise reduction. Overall, the modern outdoor facilities are well kept & clean. Instead of racing to get our chair in the morning, we all had to do the chair sign-up the prior day at 5p which was so easy. As for our residence, we had a Tara Suite which provided us with a great ocean front view. The staff was very friendly & receptive to our needs, especially our concierge Angela who provided us with help on restaurant reservations, tour of our suite and important info on the resort and Aruba in general. She was wonderful. The housekeeping also came by 2x daily & offered tea every evening which was very nice. Location wise, the resort is in a great spot as the downtown was 15 mins south by taxi & the “high rises” were the same distance to the north which could be achieved by a $10-12 cab ride. The resort also provided us with complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Lastly, we participated in the resort’s monthly beach clean up which was very rewarding & we ended up with a nice t-shirt as well as another free bottle of champagne. Overall, it was a wonderful stay & we knew we had found the perfect resort due the fact that we had met guests who had come back to Bucuti & Tara 5, 10, 12 & 18 times. We will definitely be back one day soon!!!

Beautiful place ! Amazing breach , no hustle to get an umbrella ( you book it online ), super friendly staff, comfy and spacious rooms , balcony overlooking the ocean and a very tasty breakfast. This is boutique hotel, adults only ( huge plus), close to the everything , all restaurants about $10 taxi ride away.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like Royalty. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and escorted to our Tara Suite which had a "Happy Anniversary" sign hanging on the door. The room was modern and on the ground floor such that you could literally walk a few feet out the patio door and be on the white sands leading to palapas and the ocean. In the room was a bottle of champage, cheese, chocolates, and a couple of nice thermal cups to keep. Plus a new tea every night with turndown service. We interacted with so many different staff members I am ashamed to say I cannot recall individual names except for Rambo who we saw at breakfast each morning and Karen at the bar who made THE most amazing banana rum punch drink I have ever had. Staff members at the restaurant were singing and all seemed genuinely happy to be there interacting with and serving the guests. Prior to arrival, I had been corresponding with Laura R who was responsive and friendly beyond measure. Having had some challenging health issues dating back to June which caused hubbie and I to cancel our 30th anniversary trip to Charleston, I had even reached out to owner/manager Ewald Biemans to express how excited I was that my husband and I could enjoy kind of a belated 30th anniversary at B&T before changing resorts for our daughter's wedding which was several days later at another resort on the island. Mr. Biemans responded almost immediately and was kind and appreciative of the message I sent. I am sorry he was out of town during our stay as I would have loved to meet him personally. Meticulously maintained grounds, delicious daily breakfast (included in nightly rate), ability to reserve umbrella and chairs each day, along with the bar and delicious meals at Elements were perfection embodied. The only real issue we had - which we still are rubbed wrong about but not enough to keep us from coming back or writing this awesome review - is that due to the historic storm known as Hurrican Milton which essentially closed down 90% of the state of FL for several days, my husband and I had to modify our 25 year old son's travel itinerary for him to be sure and get to Aruba safely for our daughter's wedding. The modification required that he come in earlier and connect through Charlotte instead of FL and I figured the concierge would tell us there would be an upcharge to allow our son to sleep in our room. Sadly, we were informed that there are only two people allowed per room and we could pay to get him a room there at Bucuti or they could help find an available reservation at a different hotel. Hubbie and I would have preferred to have the room to ourselves, but Milton could not be foreseen so we were open to having our son stay with us for those two nights before we were to check out. Instead, we were stressed about itinerary change for our son and then having to find separate accommodations for him...and he was alone so that made me nervous for many reasons too.

Everything about the place is great. One of the best beaches I’ve ever been to. Resort is very well maintained. Each and every staff is helpful. Nora helped us with checkin and property tour and was helpful with anything we need throughout our stay. There are no hidden costs anywhere. It’s not a massive resort but for the number of guests it never felt crowded in any spot. Highly recommend. One suggestion - please do not cage those parrots! The whole place had such a relaxed and happy vibe - didn’t feel right to see those parrots in the cage.

The Bucuti is nothing, if not consistent! The understated luxury and peaceful charm of the resort brings us back year after year. This was our 7th visit - and it was as fabulous as our first! We stayed in a Tara Suite (3rd floor) and it was absolutely beautiful! The bed is one of the most comfortable beds on the planet, their beach service is unmatched, the concierge is incredibly thoughtful and helpful, and their beach chairs and umbrellas, complete heaven on earth! Do yourself a favor, read the reviews, book this resort, and don’t think twice!
