"very disappointed experience and welcoming and poor quality. We visited on January the 3rd attracked by the charming look of the place from the outside. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. Despite being the first customers to arrive, we were treated like second-class guests. While other tables were carefully set with placemats and napkins, our cutlery was simply dropped in the middle of the table rolled in a paper napkin. No placemats were provided for us, even as we watched staff properly set the table next to us for later arrivals. The room was also incredibly cold. When we mentioned this to the staff, they dismissively told us the heating was " automatic" and did nothing to help. To make matters worse, the fish and chips we ordered were extremely greasy and inedible. It was a very upsetting and uncomfortable experience. We do not feel valued as customers at all."

"Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Our room was very clean and cosy with a fabulous view. The staff were very knowledgeable about local walks and attractions - they couldn't do enough for us! Good choice of breakfasts with the omelette honestly being the best I have ever had. Very happy with our experience here."
