“On the road, Dated hotel,”especially the carpet. Clean room and nice shower. Adequate for one night. Basic breakfast included. It has make your own waffles, cereal and microwaveable breakfast sandwiches. Has an Applebees across from it. It was a great location for our trip.

We stayed here for one night to split up a long drive and our choice was based on location. I'm giving this place a high rating because, for what it is, it is good hotel. It is the kind of hotel where you stay when you need a place to crash and you don't want to spend a lot of money. It was clean and quiet. They have coffee, juice, water, cookies, and fruit available at all hours. The rug was soiled and needs to be replaced, however, since the hotel is in the snow belt, I assume that a lot of muddy boots go through there. That said, everything was clean, and the bedsheets smelled fresh.

Beware that there is no elevator in this hotel, so be sure to request a first floor room if you can't or don't want to carry all your luggage upstairs by yourself. The room smelled like stale smoke that was covered up with deodorizer/disinfectant. The beds were incredibly hard - firm is one thing, feeling like you're sleeping on the floor is another. Thankfully we only had to stay one night while visiting SUNY Fredonia. There aren't many options in this area, so unfortunately you have to take what you can get (and they can charge what they want for this reason, too).

The beds are harder than the floor, if that’s your thing then I hope you also enjoy the massive noise they make every time you move the tiniest amount. The linens are so stiff they will never ever lay against your body and retain heat, they are also incredibly noisy. The pillows collapse after about a minute, forcing you to constantly readjust, also noisy. There is a beep in the distance, it’s constant… it says “change my battery!” and it says this every 30 seconds. Seriously, I did not get one minute of sleep and I am generally very quick to sleep and stay asleep. This was the most uncomfortable experience of my life, I got out of bed due to frustration and discomfort.

My son and I stayed here on a visit to Fredonia. Picked it because it was in the choice hotel app with a free breakfast. Tried to ignore the bad reviews as everything has changed since covid. However this hotel is under major renovations with absolutely borderline dangerous conditions walking up to the second floor. The room itself smelled like mold and dirt, and the carpet was absolutely disgusting filthy and gross. The bathroom must have been recently done and was clean and bright. Night time staff was great. Breakfast was free and that's what I expected for free. I would not stay here again unless the remodeling was complete.

Booked the very expensive whirlpool suite, the motor was so loud that there was no way we were going to put our neighbors thru that.. unusable.. Other than that even seamed ok. I'm not sure if it was so expensive due to labor day weekend but goodness this isn't a 190 dollar hotel for a regular room.. that was the advertised price for a regular room

Unfriendly staff. The rooms smell like mold. The hotel overall is very outdated. The rug in the room looks dirty - won’t walk on it without shoes. Overall, a real disappointment and far below expectations for Choice Hotels. Will never stay here again.

I had planned to stay in Niagara Falls for two nights, but the second night's price went way up, so I decided to drive west and stay outside of town. After reading reviews and looking at prices, I booked one night at the Quality Inn Dunkirk by phone. It is right off the highway. I got a large room. There were luggage carts. The man at the front desk was friendly and able to give me a restaurant recommendation. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and good towels. The fridge, wifi, and TV all worked. The air-conditioner worked. The room had no smell. For breakfast, there were heatable breakfast sandwiches, little donuts, muffins, granola bars, waffles, yogurt, cereal, coffee, fruit, milk, and juice. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

Booked a room there only because they had a whirlpool tub in room, the tub didn’t work called to see if they could do anything for me and said nope sorry and hung up never will stay again will not recommend to anyone and will leave reviews on every place possible
