No issues, nice clean comfortable hotel room

Following on from Marie’s review yesterday, breakfast staff Kelly, Kirsty and Suzie were also exceptionally friendly and attentive. There are people who regularly stay here whilst attending Ninewells hospital and it was lovely to see the staff welcome them by name and even ask them if they want their usual type of coffee. It’s obvious they have taken the time to get to know them and can therefore provide a personal touch. One of the friendliest hotels we have stayed in this past while.

Arrived early and though our rooms weren't ready for early check in Jada who is the manager and was working reception let us leave our bags so we could go out and explore the area. On our return we were met at reception by Kenny who booked us a table in the restaurant and was very courteous. On arrival at the restaurant we were asked about allergies and I have allergies to spices so I mentioned that I'd need to know if food had chilli etc in it. We were then seated by Nikki and were waited on by herself and Kevin. Even the smallest details were paid attention to, they even changed my cutlery in case of cross contamination and I was asked about barbeque sauce which was put on the side rather than on the chicken with my agreement. Both Nikki and Kevin were very attentive and the food was excellent. I will certainly not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel a couple of times always a very warm welcome and a great night's sleep. The staff are always on hand to help with anything you need nothing is too much trouble. I am sure we will be back here again. Nice and friendly and clean and I am very fussy

The hotel staff were amazing. Kenny on reception was super helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel was let down by two staff members in the Beefeater restaurant. Never experienced such a rude service before from Nicki and then when she got her manager Kevin, the rudeness continued. Honestly this has put me off staying in this hotel for the reason of this. There were two lovely, polite and efficient staff members working called Beth and Nathan but their customer service was over shadowed by the negative service of Nicki and Kevin. A number of other guests also commented to me on their treatment by Nicki and not happy with her service at all, so not just me but I obviously received the worst of her service. I have emailed the General Manager of the hotel regarding this but haven’t had a response back. I’ve also messaged Guest Relations who are reviewing my complaint. I have stayed in this hotel in the past and Nicki and Kevin were not working. I won’t be staying in the hotel ever again because of them!

Nice experience. We were a family of 3 people, we stayed 3 nights, December 25/28, clean and spacious room, clean bathroom, towels for all members, comfortable beds, spacious parking, smoking area, quiet, friendly staff, breakfast it had many options and all the products were fresh. We were given only one card for the door, but we spoke to the reception and received an extra one, check-in and check-out were very simple and quick.
