A Frustrating Stay – Poor Sleep & Constant Smoke
This hotel fell far short of basic comfort standards. Despite being advertised as a restful retreat, multiple issues made proper sleep impossible.
Permitted smoking on balconiesfilled the entire lobby and hallways with stale cigarette smoke. When we complained, reception simply shrugged and said, "Balcony smoking is allowed."
Extreme noise pollution:our street-facing room faced constant honking, loud conversations until 1-2 AM, and zero soundproofing (we could hear neighbors clearly).
Unbearable light pollution: blinking smoke detectors, bright LED lights from curtain switches, and poor blackout shades made the room feel like an airport at night.
Rock-hard mattress: after an already disruptive environment, the uncomfortable bed sealed the deal on a sleepless night.
Sleep is the bare minimum expectation for any hotel stay, yet this property failed on every level. If you value rest, cleanliness, or quiet, look elsewhere.
