"We stayed at Sofitel Dubai Downtown for five nights and, as regular guests, it always feels nice to return and be welcomed by familiar faces. We were given Room 2702, which was comfortable and well maintained throughout our stay. Housekeeping did a good job, and we really could not find any faults with the hotel in terms of the room or cleanliness. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. A special mention goes to Claire who was incredibly friendly and warm. She always made an effort to have a conversation with us, which added a lovely personal touch to our stay. We would also like to thank Chef Amr from the restaurant, as well as Mustafa and Santosh from the concierge team, for their excellent service. They were all friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Since we are regular guests, it was always nice that many of the staff recognise us and make us feel welcome. This personal touch is one of the reasons we continue to return to Sofitel Dubai Downtown. The friendly service, familiar faces and warm hospitality continue to make Sofitel Dubai Downtown one of our preferred hotels whenever we visit Dubai. One point that can be improved is the valet parking. Service was quite slow but this is understandable as they mentioned that they have limited staffs."

"This was our first stay in Dubai, and the front desk lady was incredibly nice, kind, and patient. Even with my broken English, she politely and patiently answered all my questions, giving us very detailed guidance. I've forgotten her name, but she was really beautiful. I even chatted with her using a domestic AI app, and although the conversation wasn't perfectly smooth, we had a great time. I actually feel a bit embarrassed now because we hadn't adopted the custom of tipping back then. There are many mosques in Dubai, and there's a beautiful one right next to this hotel. It's also very close to Dubai Mall, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to both Dubai Mall and Kite Beach, which is super convenient and thoughtful. Thumbs up!👍"

"A must try their breakfast! Location is good easy to access supermarkets. The only problem is their temperature of water, never able to reach the medium temperature. You can get either very hot or very cold water. My kids and me had get scalded by the water temperature many times. Water pressure slightly low. Management shall look serious into this issue. The water-tap on basin is very “unique” I had no idea how to use it. I think they shall put a guide there. Room TV is bad with the screen color. No much to cost for them to change a TV. Please maintained the standard there as this is not budget hotel."
