After seeking help from the neighboring hotel, I was contacted by the host's assistant, who claimed the place was overbooked and my booking was canceled. When I asked why I wasn't informed earlier, the host used offensive language and told me to contact the travel agent. At that time, I had two young children with me, and we were exhausted after a long day of travel. I spent three hours trying to understand the situation between the host's assistant and the host. In the end, the assistant said over the phone that he couldn't help me as there was no place available. I had to urgently book another hotel, which was a 30-minute taxi ride away. This was a terrible experience, especially for a tourist with two young kids. I strongly suggest removing this place from Trip.com as the host is unreliable and dishonest. The reception of neighbour hotel later informed me that they canceled my booking to get a higher price, especially during the peak season. I hope the website can double-check the quality of these listings.
