"Käytin Hilton's paljon liiketoimintaa aiemmin & Dover asui minun korkeat odotukset. Varattu 3 kaksinkertaisia huoneita 3 yöksi kokous. Vähän onnellinen oleskelumme & varaa uudelleen. Ystävällinen, huolellinen henkilöstö. Spotlessly puhtaat huoneet & kylpyhuoneet. Jotkut mukavimmat sänkyjä olemme nukkuneet. Muutama ongelma (kylmä) aamiainen (ratkaistu) ja suuri valinta. Jotkut juhlista nauttivat sauna. Yksi puoli - yksi hissi on hyvin pieni ja hitaasti luoda pullo."

"Highly recommended. Alex was very friendly and helpful, breakfast (self service) was great, price is of good value, bed was comfy, and the house built in 1834 was historical and well maintained. Only complaint is probably the low shower water pressure though, but it is not an issue considering the age of this house."

"This is one of the WORST hotels that I have stayed in my life time. We had booked two rooms from 19/3/26 to 22/3/26 (3 nights). As soon as we entered my room, the door closed and I was shocked to find that there was NO HANDLE to open the door from inside! Fortunately we could get out as we were travelling as a family and they opened the door from outside. The room was changed, the new room was as hot as a furnace, though the outside temperature was 5 degrees celsius. Reason given was "the room is getting direct sunlight". A fan was provided as the AC was not working. This didn't help much. Next morning there was no hot water in the room. This was restored after wasting approx two hours of our precious time, but the room continued to be suffocating. Again our room was changed and the new room door could not be double locked from inside as the lock was misaligned. Also the bathroom drain was clogged. The man at the reception expressed his helplessness to do anything about it as "it was difficult to get a mechanic in that location". Worst of all, the reception desk was not manned throughout our stay. To contact reception, we had to make a local call to their number and most of the time the call was unanswered. I strongly recommend that this hotel is blacklisted so that no one suffers the way we did."

"I made a reservation. They charged me in advance. When I get to the place it is completely locked, like plywood in the windows and nobody answered, door, phone or messages. Gas station in front confirmed it was closed. Never had my money back."

Margaretin tervehtiminen tuntui todella kotona tulemisesta ... Hän oli lämmin, ystävällinen, ja todellinen kiinnostunut kuulla matkastamme. Meillä oli jopa ilo tavata hänen perheensä vieressä ovessa, jotka olivat yhtä kauniita. Huoneemme oli kauniisti koristeltu ja huolellisesti asennettu, kaikki pieni lisät, jotka tekevät oleskelu erityistä. Katsotaan kaupungin ympäri oli poikkeuksellinen. Käytännöllinen pöytätila vieressä makuuhuone oli täydellinen kahvin, hiusten ja meikki, tai käyttämällä laitteita, ja mukavat tuolit tekevät helppo rentoutua ja katsella TV. Sänky oli erittäin mukava, varmistaen loistava yö unta. Ainoa asia, jonka olisimme muuttaneet, oli, että uima-allas/suihkualue ei ollut yksityisyyden vuoksi, mutta se ratkaistiin helposti piirtämällä makuuhuoneen ovet. Mitä todella ilmestyi oli Margaretin ystävällisyys ja vieraanvaraisuus. Olimme liian väsyneet ulos illalliselle, ja hän lahjallisesti valmistanut meille joitakin kotitekoisia voileipäjä ... mielenkiintoinen ele, joka meni ylä- ja kaukaa. Seuraavana aamuna nautimme herkullista mannermainen aamiainen ennen lähtöä lentokentälle. Todella tervetullut BnB kanssa isäntä, joka tekee sinusta tuntea huolestuneen erittäin suositeltavaa!"

"We booked for a local wedding many months ago but the stay was at a different Premier Inn When we checked in we were under the impression the room paid for had been transferred. We were informed a refund had been made but we could not find the evidence. However Eloise was delightful in how she dealt with it and we paid again. Later we discovered we had not gone back far enough in time. So an apology is due to Eloise and thank you for being so very pleasant."

St Martins Guest House
"We stayed in two rooms here for a night before joining our cruise and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. It is close to the white cliffs of Dover and Dover castle and only a mile from the port. St Martins is very well located. John, the concierge was amazing and always wanted to please. As other reviews noted, he is very knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were very clean. As others have stated St. Martins is a guest house. Rooms are small and basic and there isn't any air conditioning. If those things are important to you you are better off booking a large hotel. We felt the positives of this charming place far outweighed any of that other stuff and inexpensive at about 100 pounds a night. "
