One of those very special places that I'll keep on coming back to as long as I'm able or as long as our marvellous hosts have us. Three years in a row and already booked for next year. Its our little escape to the mountains and valleys of Snowdonia and has become a home from home, with Gina and Gareth becoming our friends. We miss it already and wish we could only stay longer. Thank you so much X.

Our second time staying here and it was as good as we remember, lovely property set in lovely grounds. The bed was the comfiest we’ve slept in for a long time, we liked having our little chats with Gina at breakfast and Gareth’s great cooked breakfasts. Hopefully it won’t be as long until our next visit.

Gina and Gareth really helped make our holiday in Wales a very special and enjoyable one. Our bedroom (room 1) was very spacious with a very comfortable Super-King-sized bed and the breakfasts were splendid, as were the Saturday evening meal and afternoon cream tea we opted for with them. They are both very friendly and nothing was too much trouble because their aim is always for their guests to be entirely happy and enjoying their stay. They both work very hard and deserve all the future success possible because their attitude to customer service is so good. My wife Christine and I also really appreciated their excellent information provided about stunningly beautiful local walks, such as the waterfalls of the Torrent Walk woodland walk, which was so lovely and memorable. Thank you Gina and Gareth ... we hope to see you again at some future date.

Gareth and Gina run a guest house that is 5 star but with all the homely feel we spent 2 days with them and it was a pleasure to be thete and we will return

This is our sixth stay with Gina and Garath. As ever they do dissapoint. This family run high end boutique bed and breakfast at its finest. Licensed with good quality wine and beers at realistic prices. Dinners available see website first details. Excellent range of cooked to order breakfast items. Ample parking and spacious grounds with forest trails. All together a delightful and relaxing experience.

What a little gem of a place this is set in its own secluded grounds. The owners Gina and Gareth were very friendly, warm and welcoming, and have created a peaceful and relaxing place for their guests to experience. We stayed in the garden rooms which were spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and well equipped. The food served at breakfast and dinner was delightful, and enjoyed by us all. Gina told us that her and Gareth have been at Afon Rhaiadr for 10 years. and its clear that they have worked really hard to make their business a success. I cant think of anything that they could do to improve, and wish them both continued success in the future. Mike Jordan

Wonderful couple,Gina and Gareth, Lovely house, great breakfast and dinner, We stayed here for our Ruby wedding anniversary and are really glad we did. The room we stayed in (Lily) was very comfortable and we also enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders We are looking forward to staying again in the future Thank you Gina and Gareth for making our stay very memorable.

This place is beautiful! Gareth and Gina were great and make you feel like part of a family with their genuine, warm hospitality. The bedroom, bathroom and whole experience was 10/10 (also, Gina is an amazing cook!! That chocolate cake - WOW!). When leaving I lost a sentimental piece of jewellery and they kindly emailed me to let me know it was there, and then sent it back via special / recorded delivery. I'm very grateful! Also, if it wasn't for their great advice on the magical gems to see in the area, we would have missed out on the spectacular waterfalls, golden coast beach and amazing mountain top views. This trip was magical - thank you! (Definitely heading back at some point!)

This wonderful country house was a lovely little gem. The best guest house we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. We stayed for a long weekend for my birthday. The room was spotless and beautifully clean with plenty of special touches to make it special. The food was excellent. The hosts Gina and Gareth were amazing. So friendly, helpful and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect, rural and peaceful, yet close enough to take a short drive to the nearest town with some lovely pubs. About 2 miles down the road. The only advice we gave to Gina and Gareth, was simply, to 'never stop what your doing, because it's just perfect'!
