"This stay was a huge disappointment. Before checking in, I emailed to confirm my booking, but the hotel irresponsibly pushed the blame to the booking platform and refused to verify it. Upon arrival, I found numerous issues with the room's facilities, including a smelly range hood, a clogged sink, frequent TV and internet disconnections, and even a dryer lint trap packed with thick lint, which posed a safety concern. The towel quality was inconsistent. Furthermore, the room cleaning was extremely shoddy; the floor was dusty, and amenities weren't restocked. The worst part was that after I reported missing tissues, the front desk promised delivery within 20 minutes, but it took over an hour and two follow-up calls before anyone addressed it. The hotel needs to ensure its cleaning staff conducts thorough checks and improve the front desk's service efficiency and accountability."

"An excellent hotel experience, my apologies for the two-month delay in writing this review. We chose this hotel for our honeymoon in April, as it's one of only a few locations worldwide, which always builds anticipation. Before arriving, I emailed to inquire about honeymoon amenities. Helen from guest relations promptly replied and arranged everything seamlessly: early check-in, complimentary champagne, chocolates, and a welcome card. Upon arrival, the service from the concierge to the front desk, and even in the guest rooms and breakfast restaurant, was outstanding. Everyone was energetic, and their smiles felt genuine. They never seemed unhappy, even without a tip. Breakfast had a touch of the Edition hotel vibe. This hotel provided the best experience during my Australia and New Zealand trip. (There was a high percentage of Caucasian staff; while I don't judge based on skin color, many other hotels had staff with inconsistent service standards. Here, everyone provided excellent service with no signs of discrimination – at least overtly). The eco-friendly design made us feel immersed in nature. The hotel is conveniently located near an elevated bridge, making it easy to get around with the business car service. Shopping across the street is also very convenient, and it's just a few stops to Chinatown and the city center, perfect for a city walk too! Highly recommended."

"I have been busy since returning from Australia, but I always remember that I owe the Melbourne Grand Hotel and its enthusiastic and responsible staff a five-point praise! I flew from Perth to Melbourne that day, took the skybus from the airport to the Southern Cross Station, and walked for ten minutes to the hotel early in the morning. I originally planned to store my suitcase and borrow the bathroom to wash and change clothes, and then went to the surrounding breakfast and sightseeing. The night shift was not off work yet, and the cleaning lady had just started work. They saw that I was tired and embarrassed, so they said that the room type I booked had just been checked out, and immediately arranged for cleaning work. I waited for about half an hour and checked in early. After going out and returning to the room, I also received a handwritten welcome message from the duty manager and very delicious chocolates, which was very thoughtful! Very heartwarming! This hotel is only separated from the Southern Cross Station by a road, and then you have to walk more than a hundred meters along the hotel house to the hotel front desk. The Southern Cross Station is close to the hotel. Woolworths is on this side of the hotel, and Coles is on the other side. The surrounding dining and shopping are quite convenient. You can walk to the Yarra River or the city center, and you can take the free tram a little further. The room is loft style, fully equipped with kitchen facilities, and very comfortable. This is my second time in Melbourne. This time I choose a better hotel than the last chain brand five-star hotel. I will stay here again if I have the chance to go to Melbourne in the future."

"Hotel location is very convenient, there is a tram station downstairs, about 10 minutes walk to southern cross station, , but there is a train in the morning, although more than 20 floors are high, the window is closed and the train has already been awakened. Although I had been asked to pay $300 deposit one day earlier, I needed to enter the credit card information according to the link provided by email to pay the deposit. It was a bit unsafe. Although the deposit was refunded after the deposit, it also eroded the exchange rate difference. Generally, companies will only hold credit but not count. It is not official for the hotel, it may be just a unit owner or long-term tenant, and then sublet to tourists. Before I came over, I had already connected. "Great location. Well priced for location and usual amenities. Rooftop spa isn't hot enough, needs to be way warmer to be pleasant. Steam room wasn't open this stay. Robes no longer provided in room which is a shame because they were great for when using the pool/spa. Last two stays I requested extra towel in my room on arrival but both times this request wasn't actioned. Staff on check in were lovely and handled the rush extremely professionally, treating each guest with care despite the line. QR code for room service wasn't working this stay or my previous stay. Bathroom had a weird smell which I had also experienced during previous stays. Lots of room for improvement but still a pleasant stay for a reasonable price."
