"I am a travel agent. I originally made a reservation and changed it within the acceptable period. I paid for the first reservation and was told to pay again for the second and I would be refunded. 3 weeks have gone by. No one at the hotel responds. When I stayed there no one had an answer. When I called no one had an answer and when I emailed no one answered. $4600. No refund. Fortunately Amex will take care of this. But there is no service at this hotel. And no one knows anything. I will never send a client here. It is like the blind leading the blind. Stay away!!"

"Note concerning the restaurant only. We had known this restaurant for a long time with a welcoming atmosphere. We came back with a favorable a priori, what a disappointment! Tasteless, uninteresting cuisine, not even worthy of a canteen. Presentation more than average, no knives on the table, fish knives for the meat, the pâté terrine. They do not even offer a carafe of water, or bread. And when we ask, the answer: "you only had to ask" Deplorable waitress arrogant, impolite, insulting, unworthy, with no respect for the customers. She alone downgrades the establishment. Zero value for money. Not recommended!! €183 for lousy cuisine and a contemptuous and low-end welcome."

"This four-star hotel was better than many of the five-star hotels I stayed at during my trip to France. Breakfast was included, and it even included oysters and champagne. The La Mer spa treatment and the shampoo and lotion in the room were quite good. I didn't know I needed to book dinner; I hadn't. I was scheduled for the second round at 8:45 pm, which was quite late. The waiters didn't speak English, and the food was just average."

"While this hotel is extremely well located it is not a true five star experience. Reasons: inadequate service at breakfast. Three days: gluten free bread day 1 inedible, day 2 -- tried harder and passable, day 3-- good.... and not enough. Served to everyone without any notation so when I asked for a second slice of toast I was told there isn't anymore! Unheard of! Breakfast was so poor that we canceled our reservation at the Michelin starred restaurant for dinner! Coffee orders: macchiato.... took 3X to get it right 2 out of 3 days Gluten free bread-- disastrous Omelette orders mixed up! Room-- great view-- but-- bugs.......no a/c in bathroom or WC! Check in, the person who assisted us knew very little (even about opening the bathroom shades! Concierges in the evening were lovely. Overall, management is lacking. We complained, yet there was not even a follow up from owners a week later!"

"I have been coming to Dinard for several years and the first time my mother and I went to this very beautiful hotel to share a meal. We started the evening with a visit to the elegant bar. Excellent cocktails, attentive staff, very pleasant piano atmosphere. I was amazed by the “lemon meringue”. We then joined the George V restaurant. A plush, bright setting and generous cuisine. The evening menu at a very reasonable price was just perfect. A special mention to the service, both elegant and efficient, like the Hugo. Go there with your eyes closed."
