"After reading several good reviews of this hotel I booked 3 nights for an event nearby. The room was clean and decent, but that’s where the good stops. The hotel is right on Rt 35 and the noise from the highway is too much. The continental breakfast is awful. I requested room cleaning every day with the manager yet it was not done. At 6 in the evening the 2nd night there were two guys banging on my door claiming to be maintenance. I would not open the door telling them I did not request or need them. They claimed to need to change a shower valve. Nothing was wrong with the shower, maybe it was legit but who does that at 6 when the guest is occupying the room. The manager was off the whole weekend so I talked to the staff, who were nice, to relay my complaints to the manager and they agreed to do so and have him email me. Never heard from him. Better places to stay in Pearsal. This hotel sucks."

"I've been treated very well by the staff and the owner during each visit. I especially like how clean it smells throughout the hotel. the rooms are spotless and the bed is more comfortable than most hotels that I've stayed at in Dilley. Other hotels offer free breakfast too, but there is always a fight over who gets the last strip of bacon. Those other hotels rarely have anyone refill breakfast items when they are all eaten. I never have that problem when I stay at this Best Western in Dilley. "

"The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. After that, there's not much I can say that is complimentary. The already spartan breakfast was made more so by the fact that the waffle iron didn't work. There was no fruit, no milk for the cereal, and no coffee creamer. The desk clerk went somewhere else (his own apartment?) and brought out a cup of milk. In then room, the toilet had to be flushed several times to clear the bowl. The sink was stopped up and took forever to drain. The shower had two settings : fire hose or pelted with damp drops."
