Seaside Dhigurah

The rooms feels like luxury villa. Their frontdesk receptionist Hasaan is good in giving orientation, hes so knowledgeable about the island and beat things to do there. The rooms are so relaxing, it has a garden in front with lots of flowers, they have a lot of complimentary amenities, fast internet for wfh, and breakfast is also good! Best stay ever!! Amazing place, beautifully decorated, new, cleaned daily. The small houses are surrounded by plants and flowers. The staff is amazing and they did everything to make our stay great. Highly recommend the whale shark/ manta tours as they are amazing and super fun. Also recommend the cute restaurant on the premises where they have delicious typical Maldivian dishes. The beaches are nearby and they’re beautiful and the sandbank can be easily reached by bike which is included with the stay. Snorkels and fins are also included and can be used everyday.Wonderful stay overall and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit Dhigurah.

Soggiorno di una settimana dal 29 Dicembre al 5 Gennaio, due adulti e una bambina. Graziosa struttura nel cuore del villaggio, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia locale. Al momento ci sono alcuni bungalow immersi in un curato giardino che include anche la reception. Altre sistemazioni sono già operative e in fase di ampliamento all' angolo difronte. La camera è ampia e moderna, abbastanza ben equipaggiata, tranne che per l' armadio, risultato un po' sottodimensionato. Ottimo condizionatore, tv, cassaforte , frigobar e piccola scrivania. Discreto il bagno con doppio lavandino, doccia esterna, ottimi accappatoi in dotazione. Ottima qualità del sonno, letto molto comodo, discreta pulizia. La colazione viene servita in una struttura adiacente alla reception, dotata anche di terrazza. Tuttavia, in una settimana, non vi è mai stata servita, bensì all' interno, a causa del tempo molto incerto, caratteristica costante di queste isole purtroppo. Un buffet con frutta, qualche specialità dolce e saltata, pane da toast; nel complesso sufficiente, caffè accettabile. Servizio nella media, in base a chi era di turno. Un paio di ragazzi francamente apparivano piuttosto svogliati e poco reattivi. Molto più empatici quelli delle escursioni e Riswaan, il gestore che, seppur non sempre presente in struttura, risponde prontamente e in modo preciso ai messaggi su WhatsApp. C' era un po' preoccupazione per la qualità delle biciclette (in base a parecchie critiche sulle recensioni ), tuttavia il numero pare aumentato e ne abbiamo sempre trovate un paio in buone condizioni. Addirittura Riswaan si è adoperato per trovarne una al di fuori dell' hotel per nostra figlia di dieci anni, ormai grande per essere trasportata su quelle per adulti, quasi tutte in stile mountain bike. Grazie a questa abbiamo potuto esplorare bene l' isola, arrivando più volte a raggiugere ( in circa venti minuti ) la splendida bikini beach a sud dell' isola. A destra dell' hotel uscendo, a circa venti metri, un rifornito market con frutta, stuzzichini e gelati, oltre a tanti articoli. Buona la cena della vigilia ( a pagamento ) . Peccato per quella di Capodanno che, nonostante le condizioni proibitive, è stata comunque allestita in spiaggia, sotto la pioggia per tutta la sera, fatto che ha influito molto negativamente sulla serata, decisamente rovinata. Forse un allestimento preventivo in una struttura anche parzialmente coperta sarebbe stato doveroso. Nel complesso comunque esperienza molto buona, in una delle strutture più accoglienti dell' isola. Molto gradito e inaspettato un ( doppio ) pensierino dei ragazzi dello staff per nostra figlia al momento del check-out, prima di imbarcarsi per andare a prendere l' idrovolante in un' isola vicina, organizzato perfettamente da Riswaan su nostra richiesta.

Semaine en famille Hébergement cosy avec une très belle decoration et un joli extérieur. Le personnel est aux petits soins pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. Le petit déjeuner est complet et varie chaque jour. Le restaurant propose également de bons plats à la carte. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Seaside Dhigurah.

Ikke godt nok Personalet var virkelig flinke og forsøgte at forbedre de udfordringer vi havde, men det var alt fra plettede lagner og håndklæder, som stadig var fugtige, plettede vægge og myrer i morgenmaden.

We stayed at Seaside Dhigurah for 7 nights and had a great break. Although the 6 chalets are side by side, they are amid the tropical garden, and you get a real sense of privacy. The rooms are well provisioned, including a refrigerator and Netflix on the TV. The open-air shower is a nice touch and a great way to check the days weather. One niggle though is that the hot water takes a long-time to reach the shower, no problem if you like a tepid shower in the morning. There is enough choice on the breakfast for most people and the fresh fruit plate is really good. One area that could be improved is getting coffee, on most occasions we had finished our breakfast before the coffee arrived. I think having a self-service, filter coffee, would speed things up. Seaside provides free mask and snorkel to use and bikes to get around the island. Yaeesh and his team are extremely helpful and will help resolve any problem/query you have, including arranging a scooter for us to visit the sand bank as my wife struggled cycling. We didn’t book any trips but by example, a whale shark trip will cost you $180/£143, per couple. Finally, some tips, most people want to visit the sandbank, it’s a long walk and/or bike ride, and its isolated so you need to make sure you’re self-sufficient and have enough water, sunscreen, repellent etc. Yaeesh can organise a ‘taxi’ for you if you don’t fancy the walk/ride. Most of the other hotels and restaurants are at the other end of town and we really liked the Malaveli restaurant. If you need to change money, the corner shop offers a decent rate, and the Beach View café is good for a coffee and slice of butter/chocolate cake.
