La Brisa Boutique Hotel

Ho soggiornato tre notti in questa nuovissima struttura affacciata sul mare cristallino di Dhermi e ho avuto un riscontro più che positivo; camera comoda e spaziosa, personale cortese, per non parlare dell’ottimo ristorante che offre una varietà di cibi vastissima e di qualità. Come molti hotel di lusso anche qui troviamo una bella piscina, ma anche se come me preferite i bagni al mare, in questo caso vale comunque la pena salire sulla terrazza (dove troverete la spa e la piscina) per godersi una vista MOZZAFIATO che dona all’ambiente un aspetto a dir poco paradisiaco.

I feel completely mis sold by the manager Marisda regarding this properly as well as reading various incorrect reviews in Food and Drink magazine and the Guardian. After spending several weeks in 5 star hotels in Corfu, Albania and Paxos , including IKOS we could not wait finish our holiday in Dhermi at La Brisa. I had spent the previous 9 months communicating with the manager to ensure we were booking the right hotel for our family with the correct room and location. We required an adjoining room for myself and my husband and our two children. The manager Marisda sent me numerous e mails and what’s ap messages showing me the side view rooms with partial sea views. The communication was extensive. The rooms and the view looked lovely and we were assured via e mail that we would be reserved a top floor room with partial sea view. We were also assured that there would be a note on our booking to ensure that our room was not changed. For two nights the total cost was well over £1000. Not the cheap Albania we had heard about but as the WhatsApp videos looked so nice we decided to go with and spend the money. I can honestly say this is the worst hotel we have EVER stayed at and it almost ruined our holiday. We kicked off to a bad start with the receptionist telling us we didn’t have an adjoining room then eventually finding we did and then telling us it was on the first floor, despite all the promise of a top floor. Conveniently the Manager is not in the hotel due to sickness but she did e mail me to apologise and we were offered an upgrade for one room which was absolutely pointless as our children need to be next to us in case they wake up during the night or become sick. They need to feel safe which is why we booked an interconnecting room so that we were all in the same space. We were left beyond frustrated and disappointed. The location of the hotel is so awful that we toyed with leaving Albania early and heading back to Corfu but the logistics with the kids was just too much for the end of our holiday On arrival at the room we found our balconies faced a carp park / building site. One of the reasons we booked the hotel was so that we could have a relaxing drink on our balcony with a lovely view after our kids went to bed! This was not going to happen. I also need to add at this point that Dhermi is horrendous. You could be anywhere, magaluf, falaraki, blackpool, Ibiza on speed!. Three bars outside the hotel are all competing to have the loudest music and the result is a baseline drone that you cannot get away from. It’s not even good music and you can’t decipher one from the other! Our ears rang for days after we left. There is no peace to be had anywhere. The music does stop at 12am but by then everyone is over tired and grumpy. It picks back up in the morning and gets louder as the day progresses and as I mentioned it’s impossible to escape noise from one end of the strip / promenade to the other. I don’t know where

Das Hotel La Brisa ist modern und sehr schön her- und eingerichtet und unser Dopelzimmer mit wunderbarem Meerblick ist recht gross. Das Meer ist, soweit es erkennbar ist, sauber, der Kieselstrand auch. Die Liegen und Liegesäcke sind nicht ganz so eng angelegt wie sonst üblich hier. Das Personal ist weitgehend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles ist sehr sauber. Minuspunkte: Schon mal der Preis ist für albanische Verhältnisse wirklich happig (350 Euro/Doppelzimmer). Macht nichts dachten wir, Qualität hat eben einen Preis. Dass es aber zum Frühstück Nescafe (Kolbenkaffee nur gegen einen horrenden Aufpreis) und Beutelnektar statt frisch gepressten Orangensaft und nur kalte Omelettes und Spiegeleier etc. gibt, passt nicht zum Preis. Die Mikro-Illy-Maschine für Privathaushalte (pro Espresso ca. 3 Minuten) macht das ganze nicht besser. Zudem läuft wirklich ununterbrochen von 10.00-24.00h laute bummzisch-Musik in mehreren Strandbars. Sehr sehr schade für die wirklich schöne Bucht. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern dürfte zudem der steil abfallende Strand eine Herausforderung sein Beim Infinitypool auf dem Dach des La Brisa erzieht uns eine strenge Bademeisterin von wegen Towels und Liegenwahl. Herumtobende Kids können aber machen, was sie wollen. Rund um das Hotel liegen auf der Strandpromenade (+- Fussgängerzone) mehrere Bettler*innen, teiweise mit Kindern, auf dem Boden. Der Kontrast zwischen den aufgebrezelten Tourist*innen (wie wir) und diesem Elend könnte nicht krasser sein. Ich gönne Albanien die aufkeimenden touristischen Erfolge von Herzen. In diese überteuerte Ballermannmeile mit mehreren ungelösten Problemen kehren wir aber nicht mehr zurück.

Hotel en ligne avec nos attentes. Hotel en bord de plage avec une super piscine sur le toit. Hotel de taille moyenne loin des grands complexes hôtelier… le services est très correct, les chambres spacieuses et propres. Je recommande pour « chiller » en bord de mer

Wunderschönes Hotel, modern, top Lage direkt am schönsten Strandabschnitt von Dhermi. Leider müsste das Management eine Schulung machen wie man ein 5 Stern Hotel führen sollte.Das Personal an der Reception ist wohl nett, aber von Kompetenz leider weit davon entfernt. Wir sind zu dritt mit einem Auto angereist. Der Parkwächter (nicht angeschrieben, hätte ein Tourist sein können) wies uns demotiviert und arroganr darauf hin, dass wir hier nicht parkieren dürften, nur für La Brisa Kunden! Was sind wir dann? Knurrend half er uns das Gepäck aus dem Wagen in die Lobby zu bringen. Trotz unserem ersten Eindruck, freuten wir uns die schöne Suite zu beziehen! Diese war nur für zwei Personen fertiggestellt! Kein drittes Bett bezogen wie auch Badetücher etc. Call an die Reception! Zimmermädchen brachte uns die Bettwäsche, anziehen mussten wir das dritte Bett selber!!! Erste Dusche: Abfluss verstopft! Wasser konnte nicht abflussen - Ueberschwemmtes Bad! Nach 15min wurde das Problem behoben. Was uns am meusten gestört hat ist der ständige Musikpegel am Strand. Wir alle mögen Musik, aber von 10h morgens bis 19h Musik ohne jegliche Pause und Musik welche stündlich lauter wird ist eine Zumutung! Wir haben das an der Reception gemeldet (sind gemäss Bewertungen) nicht die Ersten. Antwort: Tut uns leid, dann gehen Sie hoch zum Pool, wenn Sie Ruhe wünschen! Wir haben einen too Strand hier und sollen unsere Ferien am Pool verbringen? Sehr kundenorientiert… Wirklich schade! Aber mit diesem Management wird das La brisa nicht Erfolg haben!

Für ein Boutique Hotel war unsere Erfahrung sehr enttäuschend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr mager, kleine Auswahlö und nicht hygienisch. Ausserdem wird der Kaffee verrechnet, das haben wir noch nie erlebt. Definitiv nicht weiter zu empfehlen.
