El Moore Lodge

A beautiful hotel in a great location and with the nicest staff! Complimentary gated parking is a great bonus!

We loved our stay at the El Moore and booked a return before we'd even checked out! My husband and I stayed in the Starlight Cabin and enjoyed the gorgeous views and patio! Our son stayed in the Kasem and loved it - conveniently located on the 1st floor near the lovely lobby and delicious continental breakfast! The El Moore is a special place and beautifully taken care of... The gated parking was perfect, and the garden and Season's store were a great surprise! Michele, Susan, and Harriet were all very welcoming, thoughtful, and helpful - we learned a lot about the lodge and the area! The El Moore perfectly combines the professionalism and conveniences of a hotel with the charm and warmth of a bed & breakfast! So well done!! I came home and asked myself how I could make it more "El Moore-like"! See you again in a few months El Moore!

What a gem! Beautifully restored, comfortably appointed, and featuring the most amazing attention to detail… the El Moore is a must stay if you are in the area. Located in Midtown, and close to Wayne State, the DIA and Corktown, the Starlight Cabin was well designed and very comfortable. Loved that the design of the headboard matched the design on the charming punch metal sign outside the cabin. The continental breakfast was very good and we were delighted to find that they feature baked goods from our favorite bakery - Crust in Fenton. Quality coffee and tea are available all day. The parlor looked like it could be in a magazine and was so warm and inviting. The grounds and building were gorgeous and well decorated. We were pleased to find out the beautiful courtyard on the corner and the little bougie market (our favorite kind) were all connected to the El Moore. Every item in the market had been carefully curated and featured a wonderful selection of the very best wine, beer, charcuterie, grab-and-go, and more. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The El Moore ranks as one of our favorite stays anywhere.

Short getaway This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend this establishment.

Quaint gem in the heart of Detroit with many amenities nearby that celebrate the coolness Detroit has to offer. Gorgeous, well-maintained, property, and superior customer service. Hope to be able to experience it again.
