Yarina Eco Lodge

This is a 'gentle' introduction to the Amazon but with the most stunning waterways, primary rainforest and simply fantastically knowledgeable guides (thank you Livio!). It's not luxe as such but has all the amenities and the meals are delicious.

Our stay at Yarina Lodge was nothing short of remarkable. It's a perfect spot for anyone looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in the natural world. A standout aspect of our visit was our guide, Livio. His expertise and passion for the environment truly enhanced our experience. Livio's knowledge of the local flora and fauna is impressive, and his ability to spot and explain the smallest details (completely undetectable by us) in the dense rainforest was truly admirable. His enthusiasm made our excursions both educational and thrilling. The staff at Yarina Lodge deserves a special mention as well. Everyone was incredibly attentive and courteous, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, Yarina Lodge is a fantastic choice for travelers who cherish nature and seek a genuine adventure. I highly recommend it for its tranquil location, expert guides like Livio, and the warm hospitality of the staff. We hope to return one day to relive this wonderful experience.

Ein sehr schöner Ort, um in die Welt des Dschungels einzutauchen. Liebevoll und geschmackvolle Zubereitung der Speisen, sehr freundliches Personal und geräumige, saubere kleine Hütten als Ruheort nach spannenden Ausflügen ins Amazonasgebiet. Besonderer Dank gilt auch unserem Guide Henry, der uns in den 3 Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes unzählige Einblicke in die Natur und sein Leben und jenes der indigenen Bevölkerung gegeben hat! Sehr empfehlenswert!

My two teenage boys and I loved this place. Livio, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable with so many birds and native plants, always sharing with us the cultural significance and use of them. His keen eyes and amazing photography skills are impressive and we left with several amazing photos I never would have been able to take myself. The food and rustic but very comfortable ambiance was exactly what we needed. The staff are friendly and ensure you are comfortable in every way. Beds were great, rooms clean, fans for sleeping and a hammock with every bungalow. I definitely recommend and would go again. We chose this for its one hour canoe trip (many are longer), flexibility, and affordable price point. Enjoy!

I was on an OAT tour. The rooms are in separate buildings. Each are quite nice and included a mosquito net even though there weren't any during the time I was there. The staff are committed to making your stay comfortable and if there might be a problem (my shower wasn't working properly) it is quickly fixed. The food is excellent. You arrive by launch from Coca. The boat people know the Napo river really well. The lodge is about a mile (my guess) on a small tributary off the Napo. We had a LOT of rain one night and into the morning--activities that day were "covered" by ponchos. Boots are provided for all walking trips into the jungle.

This is a lovely lodge out n Amazonia. It’s off the main river in a quiet tributary which was very interesting. The common area is open and airy. The rooms are a little more worn than you see in the photos but that was expected. They were clean and the fan kept it cool enough to be comfortable, Our guide was really interesting, not a lot of wildlife around but we saw some really interesting things which were explained to us. The food was a standout! Every meal was extraordinary, we were amazed at such a high level being delivered in such a remote location,
