The organised afternoon safari was the worst we did in Sri Lanka. We were probably the only jeep from a group of 16 or so NOT to see any leopards that day, always missing them by a few minutes or even seconds every time, while all the other drivers and passengers were taunting us with photos of them crossing the road. Even if you decide to stay in this guesthouse, you should try and find a more experienced company, so that your safari in the best national park of the island is not ruined. We were "upgraded" to a treehouse, which was unfortunately mosquito-infested, creating a small rain of insects on the bed sheets. After much insistance, we were supplied with a net, to minimise the impact. The guesthouse is too far from the town, nothing to do within walking distance. However, the guesthouse is next to a river, in a beautiful and romantic setting.
