The Landmark Hotel and Casino

Our stay at The Landmark Hotel in Deadwood, South Dakota was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charm and beauty of this historic property. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous — beautifully restored with modern touches while still honoring its rich character. Our room was stunning — spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave the next morning! We truly wish we had booked for more than one night. The location couldn’t be better — just one block from Main Street, so it’s quiet yet right in the heart of everything. Perfect for exploring downtown Deadwood on foot. A special shout-out to the young lady managing the hotel — she was amazing. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with local suggestions and directions. When we had a small issue adjusting the heat, she personally came to the room to ensure everything was working perfectly. Her hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for. While parking in Deadwood can be a bit tricky, the hotel staff went above and beyond to guide us and provide a permit, making it a non-issue. Deadwood itself is such a unique and lively town — full of history, entertainment, and charm — and The Landmark Hotel was the perfect place to experience it all. We left wishing we had stayed two nights instead of one. Without a doubt, The Landmark was the highlight of our entire week in South Dakota. Highly, highly recommend — and we’ll absolutely be back!

Great hotel. Rooms a nice size. Kept very clean. Nice toiletries. Staff very friendly. In a great location. No restaurant but lots all around the hotel

I can’t say enough about this place! It’s a newly renovated boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and decorated in chic industrial modern. Beds and linens❤️. The staff were all wonderful. Met the owner- what a nice guy! If you want an elevated stay in Deadwood that feels like the olden days but is new- this is the place❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤠

coffee everything and everyone was awesome! The hotel staff even saw that we used creamer in our morning coffees and put our flavor of creamers in our room for convenience. That is the extra touch for 5 stars, thanks!

We will be back, industrial modern! The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was gorgeous. It was industrial modern and was so beautifully done. Our view was incredible. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

Sturgis 2025!!! The Laandmark hotel is a beautiful hotel. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating! To walk into a room and have a mint and note from the hotel on the bed was something that doesn’t happen at most hotels! The complimentary beer upon check in was an awesome surprise! We would 100% stay here anytime we’re in the area!!!!
