Run down.. a bit rusty.. smells like mold.. definitely stuck in 1989.. horrible font desk staff.. um.. dingy towels.. But 😊.. A really big clean pool.. excellent ocean views.. tiki Bar.. big balconies that you can still smoke on.. VERDICT!! Probably go back again after I tell myself never again

Unit Owner needs to step it up! We were in room 506. Resort was fine, unit was adequate. We enjoyed the pool area and the tiki bar. Prices at the tiki bar were reasonable. Was a long walk to get to an ice machine as they were all on the same side of the long building. Would be great if management could spread them out. Our unit was supposed to have a full size fridge except we learned the day we checked in that it broke and they added a small hotel fridge. A little disappointing but remarkably, the big fridge started working again on our 2nd day, so we were happy. What was really disappointing is that they unit owners did not provide what they should have in the kitchen. We reserved a 1 bedroom suite with full kitchen because we were planning to cook and eat in a lot. It did have 1 pot, 1 pan and some silverware/serving utensils. It would have been nice if the unit owner provided coffee filters for our coffee maker. A plate to eat from would have been nice too. or maybe some glasses...coffee cups etc. Nothing was provided to eat out of except for 2 or 3 small cereal bowls. We had to go shopping (for plates, glasses, coffee cups, filters, paper towels etc.) on our first day just so we could eat. We should not have had to do this. Unit owner failed there. We did let the front desk know this and they did give us a few paper plates, but hopefully, the unit owners have stocked the unit better for the next guests. The floors were a little sandy so we had to keep our shoes on, but glad the floors were tile instead of carpet.

I usually read reviews prior to booking and take most with a grain of salt. Not sure why all the negativity but we loved it here. Could it use a little TLC, yes but we experienced nothing that would support all the negative reviews. We found it to be the best value, great view, friendly, very helpful staff and just a few steps from the beach. It is very basic, budget friendly, everything was clean to our standards and for our needs it was perfect. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and ejoying the spectacular views We will definitely be staying here again when the need arises.

I’ve stayed here numerous times.It’s sad to see what is going on here.Hotel staff are terrible.The company doing pool renovations is a joke.I seriously doubt pool will be done by next year. Stay away !’

This hotel has been the worst hotel me and my family have stayed in. Nothing that’s on their website was working and on top of all that they stole some of our things but won’t admit to anything. No cameras on any of the floors. The staff was very unfriendly and snappy. Our hotel room didn’t even have a key. We were supposed to have rooms next to each other but oen room was on the 3rd and one was on the 1st. They were trying to give my disabled grandma the 3rd floor room . We could barely enjoy our vacation because of this hotel.

Do not go here ! It’s terrible it’s nothing like what the e pictures are it’s completely outdated and run down ! we paid over 300 dollars with tax and deposit for one night … we booked with *********** and *********** didn’t not say that the pool and other things were closed for repairs . It was supose to be beach front but there was no access to the beach accept throgih brocken rubble and debris with construction vehicles constantly moving through ! . we booked a suite with a view of the ocean and when we got there they told us there was no view in that room all our view was of a broken pool and a destroyed tiki bar ! They also said it wasn’t ready and was supose to be ready by 4 so they tried to put 7 of us in a small room with only two beds and a pull out couch .. when I pulled out the couch bed it was filled with food crumbs and cockroaches came out they ended up putting us in the original hotel room that we booked but the room was not clean it’was so disgusting it smelled like mold .the hall way leading to our room smelled like moldy wet towels ! . the pull out bed was broken .. half the mattresses had no sheets or blankets .. and the sheets that were on were stained or had different burns in them only one out of the 6 lights worked in the room .. the thermostat was not controllable it didn’t work it was blasting and felt like a freezer in there the whole time the kitchen did not have any thing to cook with no pots pans dish soap hand soap paper towel or anything .. there was nasty rotten food and shrimp thrown out on the Patio from above … there was no soap or shampoo or anything in the bathroo there was only three towels for 7 of us to use the tvs had no remotes so you couldn’t even use them. For. Oh and if your not out at exactly 11 am on the dot for checkout the door locks .for The price we paid I could have rented a cheap motel And it would have been 100 times better this is supose to be a resort style hotel and it was complete garbage !!!

I had to stay here because another hotel cancelled my reservation. The hurricane hit this property so bad that the pool and hot tub are not available and there is no beach access. I'm not sure what happens in May when they are not allowed to do any more work on the beach to repair the dunes. Our room window was nailed shut so we could not open it. The room was cute but the bed was not made. They claimed that the room was cleaned but the floor was dirty, there were no towels, soap, or shampoo, and there was a beer can in the trash. They did bring me new sheets when I asked and they were very friendly but I do not think that room was cleaned properly. They blamed the realtors that show the property when guests are not staying in the room. They do not clean the room at all while you are staying there either.

Booked to stay during the Rolex Daytona 24hr with my father . If it weren't for me following a Facebook group with regards to the Daytona 24hr I'd have been in a touch of bother. Found out through the group that end of last year there was a bad hurricane and a few properties were condemned due to damage. Hawaiian Inn been one of them . I tried phoning and emailing for confirmation of the closure but no replies. This is rather poor customer service considering we were coming from the U.K. I understand the hotel been closed etc is not nice for the staff but surely a little customer service is required .

Please read this before making a booking at this hotel * We had booked into this hotel so we could take advantage of the Fire Luau at the venue and Paddleboarding the next day. We checked in and 10 minutes later checked out! I had booked a 2 bedroom room for me and my mother and father in law. Positives: Lovely lady on reception Outdoor pool looked pleasant Literally on beach front Negatives: Literally EVERYTHING else! The hotel as you drive in is very dated. First impressions were not great. As we entered the reception, the lady behind the counter was juggling answering the phone and checking in guests. She was professional. Whilst in the reception we heard an argument between a male member of staff and a customer who was informed she could use the outdoor pool facilities but the male staff member refused because she had already checked out and therefore wasn’t entitled to use the pool! In the reception area, again it looks very dated and in need of some attention, the bathrooms and walls leading to the bathroom were crumbling and appeared rotten. Toilet area not clean. We entered the lift, and parts of the flooring had been taped down where it looked like there had been some damage. We were on the third floor. The corridor leading to our room showed doors that looked like they had been broken into, and a general lack of attention. The room next door to us had been smoking ***** and with kids running in and out of their room. When we got to our room, I was disgusted! It looked like it had been shot at or blasted open by police. This door was the same as all doors leading to our room. It wasn’t a 2 bedroom room, it was a 1 bedroom room with a bed in the lounge that was partitioned off but had no door on. The room was dated, and immediately we all felt dirty and unclean – the thought of staying even one night filled us with dread! The nicest part of the room, was the balcony, although basic meant we wasn’t in the room! There was a puddle of water under the sofa – not sure why or where from. Air vents were filled with dust, fur and clearly hadn’t been cleaned for some time! The furniture looked like it was Ikea and hadn’t been updated for many years! We left the room within minutes of getting there. If I had any faith that this was a one off bad room then we would have asked for another room, but it was clear from the outset that this was the standard of the hotel. I went to reception to check out and explained why. The lovely receptionist was surprised to hear that the hotel and room was not upto standard. She said she would inform the manageress but the manageress wouldn’t give us a refund. We decided to cut our loses with the hotel, as well as the Fire Luau which is situated inside the hotel. Our logic was that if the hotel was that bad, the entertainment and food is likely to be bad also. Do not look at the pictures on their website and think they are upto date as they are not!
