Dch on Mitchell

You have to check in at a different hotel across the road and around the block, and parking was extra here. Also very noisy as you’re right on the party street but it’s a decent central location.

A rather well located hotel just off Mitchell Street, where all the city's clubs and restaurants are. A nice room at first glance that looked clean, however upon inspection the underside of the bed had not been vacuumed and there were objects from previous occupants (hairbrush and even a fork??)...very unhygienic. For the price I'd say it's ok...

The front building of the DCH looked amazing, however, I was to stay in the "back" property. Cigarette smoke and stale alcohol smell filled the entire building, people were drunk and yelling. I felt very unsafe even entering the car park of the building. Had a bit of a panic attack so drove back around to the front building and let the reception know I couldn't stay there. They did offer me to stay in the front building, which looked lovely, however, I chose to move motels to one I knew.

Service was excellent by the staffs, we had a faulty A/C and they immidiately moved us to another room.

Excellent location with budget price Excellent location with budget price. I literally just slept in the bed for about 6 hours and took off very early in the morning, the hotel provided everything I needed.

STRANGE ADDRESS - hard to find the place It is advertised as DCH on Mitchell and address as 50 Mitchell street BUT it is really at 59 Smith Street - had trouble finding it till was given directions- reception is at 59 Smith Street then I had to walk along a corridor and across a street to another building and scan with my card to enter another building gate then again to open the door to get to lift then finally to my room first floor- the room was clean but basic good towels and face washers -shower was small and when I went to turn on the water the handle on one of the taps fell off on to the floor. The pool was very small and didn’t use it. Not too bad for one night for me but would not go there again
