Compass Rose

Just returned from the Compass Rose, would highly recommend, lovely room and the outside terrace gave it the wow factor. The hosts were extremely helpful. You can use the bus to get you into the town and back, as it is a steep walk with many steps to get to the accommodation but it is very manageable

Absolutely amazing, From the moment we stepped inside, welcomed by Ann, with a nice pot of Coffee and lovely chat with Ann whom is a Font of information, she gave us lots of Ideas for our Weekend, Ann and Brendan are friendly and attentive, The Compass Rose is Beautiful, each room has there own outside space, Spotlessly Clean, Day 1 Breakfast was outside in the sunshine with an Amazing view, Breakfast was lovely everything you would need, very well cooked by Brendan, Day 2 we decided to have room service, Continental also very good, everything runs like clockwork, a short downhill stroll into the Beautiful Datmouth, Would Definitely Recommend, you wont be disappointed.

This has to be one of the best b&b's we've stayed in. The views are fantastic and our room had a large terrace with a sofa and table, and also a larger table. The room was spotlessly clean and lovely & spacious and the ensuite had a bath and a walk in shower. The breakfast was excellent and the dining room has a balcony which we were lucky to be able to use as the weather was perfect. One morning we had the continental option brought to us on our terrace which was really special. The hosts were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. It's a short walk down to town, a slightly steep walk back up again but there are buses and taxi's if that's too difficult. We can't recommend this place highly enough. The perfect spot for a stay in beautiful Dartmouth.

Just got back from a fabulous weekend in Dartmouth. Compas Rose is definitely worth staying at. Beautiful rooms with comfy bed tastefully decorated and wonderful views of the town. Unbelievable breakfast and very hospitable hosts. You can’t go wrong. We will stay here again.

Lovely Bed and breakfast, in a good location with excellent views down to the Dart. Excellent hosts and lovely breakfast. Be aware however, that in common with most accommodation in Dartmouth, there is quite a steep descent down into the town.

Absolutely fantastic stay at The Compass Rose. Our room was perfect and they had thought of everything, we had a wonderful view out over Dartmouth. The breakfasts in the morning were wonderful and we couldn't have wanted more. Perfect place to stay for a weekend away!
