The staff are friendly but less enthusiastic. The food which provided in restaurant was expensive but with less variety and quantity. The room is clean but with a lot of flies.

Hotel very nice but Darjeeling not worth a visit The hotel was very comfortable with a fabulous view of Kanchenjunga. There is a Reliance store in the building itself should you need anything. Toytrain station - a short walk away. Staff are courteous. However, Darjeeling has become very filthy, dirty and congested with traffic and noxious fumes. Didn’t get the feeling of a hill station. Regret my decision to go there for a holiday .

We reached the hotel after a long day of travelling and were looking to take a nice hot shower. However the water heater was not working that day. The staff were very helpful and suggested us that they would supply hot water buckets but this was not a practical solution to the problem as we were more comfortable with having a shower rather than taking pots of water from the bucket and bathing. The second day the same issue continued and it seemed and the temperature increased a bit to lukewarm but not enough for us as we wanted a higher temperature as available in other hotels in the and around the region but not at this hotel. It was really disappointing that till the end they were not able to fix this issue. Finally on the second evening without any alternative we requested for the buckets of water and had our baths which was sheerly out of necessity. In addition to this the heater would be switched off remotely at times and would be turned on "automatically" after we complained to their front desk. If you happen to wake up in the middle of the night to check your messages etc on Whatsapp you should not be surprised to see the Wifi turned off. We noticed this on two consecutive nights. The breakfast was great, staff were helpful especially the lady and the gentleman who brought us the buckets of hot water, special thanks to them. I had booked 2 nights through our tour operator and one additional night in a higher room class before coming here. Looking at the issues we asked the front desk that we were thinking of checking out after the two nights and wanted to be refunded. He said he will check with his manager and look at options of their other property in Darjeeling itself where he said there wouldn't be hot water issues etc, and will come back to me. He didn't come back and we did not have the energy to push it further with them as the weather was very cold and we did not want further hassles.

Stay at udaan himalayan resort darjeeling was fantastic the room were very well managed and clean, staff were very friendly and helping, and the location was perfect for exploring the city, highly recommend this hotel if visiting darjeeling

From location to View from room(Kanchenjunga View suit room) all are excellent, only disappointing part is staffs n their super lazy room service. Food quality also very good though all veg. Looking for better staff management. Keep it up.
