Taj chia kutir Was excellent place and we enjoyed three beautiful days Next time we would like to stay in same place and same room with big balcony Biniboy from reservation His way of co ordination and patience to answer all my questions He made our reservation within fraction of few hours Mahesh Extraordinary smile on face and perfect guy for helping every guest and lokesh extra ordinary person front office Mukesh chauffer For his outstanding nature and always smile face He has made all our 3 days journey memorable All house keeping guys sachin Rahul firdos And all security guards Wang and ujjwal Because of them we enjoyed real hospitality of taj We would like to thank In room dinning team Lead by souvik chakraborty Because of him we enjoyed momo and many other things Mainly Rehman I can't explain the way he and his Co workers did for us was remarkable He went beyond and made is like royals And serving all food very hot in our balcony He decor our balcony with really from the heart Thankyou Mr Rehman From restaurant Would like to thank Main rest manager Mr bhattacharya He was remarkable person Helped us alot My kids enjoyed many Nepali cuisine because of him To the end reema or lady on 25th check in from front desk Was rude and never thought she belonged to hospitality division and that also taj Such person who ask right from start would u make ur remaining payment online or by card And without asking proper welcome drink or tea that also in darkeeling was absolutely rude Such person should never be posted for front desk Because guest first impression is last impression

We visited Taj Chia Kutir, Darjeeling for our wedding anniversary and I am pleased to say that our stay (between February 21 & 24, 2025) was nothing short of exceptional. We were welcomed by Ms. Daksha, Duty Manager, upon arrival and proceeded to our room under her aegis. She was warm, gracious & accommodating to all of our requests throughout our 3-day stay. We had dinner at Sonargaon, the specialty cuisine restaurant, for all the days of our stay. Ms. Prerna Lama, Mr Kumar spoiled us silly with their warm hospitality. A special mention heartfelt thank you to Chef Giri for taking into consideration our idiosyncratic preferences whilst preparing regional delicacies. The food was great, Chef Giri proved to be greater. Our room, a Villa Suite, was spacious & located in a verdant corner of the hotel (which is most of the hotel to be honest)and we really enjoyed waking up to the Darjeeling sun. We walked to the Kitchen Garden from our suite and had a nice time chatting with Mr. Sachin (the gardener) who guided us through his plantations. On our second day we went for a Makaibari Trail, a 3.5km trek within the Makaibari Tea Estate. I would personally recommend this activity for the fit & able. All-in-all a stay I must recommend to all my contacts.

It was an awesome experience staying here during our wedding anniversary. All the amenities are available, and all staffs including Daksha & Geshika sister are very cooperative friendly and amazing. The food is delicious, and the breakfast buffet offers everything you need for a satisfying meal. The property is excellent, and the views from the room are amazing. Very active secured place with clean and fresh Gardens .

Incredible stay. Special shout out to Daksha, Geshika, Bhaskar, Prerna, Eshak and Bidhya for going above and beyond and ensuring that my family and I had a comfortable stay. It was also my birthday getaway, so the staff were most gracious and accommodating and gave me the birthday I wanted-quiet and relaxed. I have never felt so pampered like I did in those two days at Taj Chia Kutir.

Our stay at Taj Chia Kutir was truly felt like home. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Lokesh, Geshika, Daksha, Reema and Bhaska were incredibly helpful, with Geshika going above and beyond to assist me with everything. A special thanks to Lokesh and Geshika for the beautiful surprise decor for my parents’ 25th anniversary, making their day unforgettable. The valley trek with Praju was hands down my best experience. He was friendly, helpful, and made it truly memorable. Visiting the kitchen with Mr. Pawan was next best experience. It was impeccably maintained with separate sections for each food category. I even got to learn baking from chefs Amrita & new trainee guy from Kolkata. The live singing in the evening was soulful, and every moment at the property was top-notch. I highly recommend Taj Chia Kutir for its outstanding hospitality and warmth.

Property nd Staff is v good but its expensive. Overall experience was good. Mr Sarkar was v good. Property is neat nd clean. I suggest to make it little reasonable. Also there was some constrution going on near the property which was a trouble during day time.
