This century-old hotel is one of the best that I have stayed at in Darjeeling. Run by a family, they offer all the coziness that you need during your getaway to the hill station. The rooms are great and comfortable, offering awesome view of the hills. The food is equally good, both in quality and quantity. The staffs are very helpful and courteous.

This is my second stay at this property..I stayed here 3 years back and it was a lot better at that time. They have detoriated in standards. I stayed at a room 11 which was far less than what I expected. To start with the bed cover was full of stains, the floor was torn and in bad need of repairs. There were spiders all around the room and no electric blanket which they used to provide earlier. On request they did not change our room stating that they don't have any vacant rooms which isn't true since in booking sites they are still showing as available. Their hospitality is very good and they will politely say you a 'no'. I am really very disappointed and I surely will not recommend the property to anyone.

It was so wonderful to stay at Hotel Villa Everest. They have excellent staff with excellent service. A beautiful property with big rooms with a view of Kanchanjungha. Clean rooms and bathroom with all basic amenities and 24/7 hot water. The staff is very polite, helpful. Food was good . Special mention to Allina , Kabir, Jhon and every other staff.

We would like to thank the team Villa Everest for their warm hospitality. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and warm with 24 hrs water supply. Thankyou to the housekeeping staff. The young team looked after our every need whether it was replenishing the tea bags/ water, TV connectivity or serving us at the dining space. The food served was good and piping hot with excellent portions, especially the breakfast spread. We wish the team all success.

Really run down establishment. The bed linen was not fresh, the food was disappointing and facilities poor. We paid for breakfast and on our last day we had to have a packed breakfast which was awful and inadequate. But in the pud side the staff are friendly if you speak Hindi and the location is excellent

Nice place to stay.. a bit far, around 10-12 mins walking from mall road..foods are a but overpriced byt room service is great. Overall behaviour is very friendly and welcoming..They close for dinner around 8-15 pm. Food pictures are given below. Food quality is good but breakfast have limited options and extremely overpriced...

Stayed in Villa Everest during my 3 night stay in Darjeeling. The hotel was a small charming owned by locals. It was very clean and there was a space heater provided in the room as well as a heated mattress pad which made it very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and there was a small and reasonably priced restaurant next to the lobby which is convenient for meals when I didn’t feel like walking to downtown, about a 10-15 minute walk. The only downside to the hotel was the wifi wasn’t that great.

The only feeling that describes Nirvana is LOVE. Not love of the mushy variety , but as of love and care. Each inch of the property has been made and is being maintained with loving care. We were to stay for two days and move on to Darjeeling, we extended it to three wanted to stay more, but they were already booked. In every nook and cranny of this boutique is book rack, quite a few really, filled with varied books. Amazingly , there was a small notice asking the guests to enjoy reading them and take back a few as memories!!! I came to know that the retreat , is owned by Mr Ghosh ,who was top brass with one of the F100 MNC s. You will realise that this is his dream and labour of love,each corner decorated with unique artifacts of his travels worldwide. He had left just the day before we arrived ,I really wish we could have met him. The entire staff, who are mostly locals,will beat any five star crew of the best colleges hands down. A very loud shout out to our superhost Adriana and her team, specially Suraksha . The manager Vishal, and chef Praveen. kudos to you too. Please certainly do stay here . Go for real long walks in the glades and the woods of the surroundings, disappear in the mist, sip endless cups of the finest tea and play with Teddy the resident mongrel and his mates. To Mr Ghosh: A couple of small additions we need for the next time Sir. A swing or two for the kids in one of the gardens, a small playroom with some games and of course a lovely children's book rack for those foggy evenings before dinner. Thank you Nirvana for being able to create dreams.

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view of mountains. The rooms are very neat and clean. They really take care of hygiene. The food was really awesome. They always cook as per our customisation and less oil. All the staffs are very well mannered. If visit Darjeeling for next time we will definitely choose this hotel without a second thought. Best hotel in Darjeeling with best view at a low price. The location a little way from mall. (5- 10 min walking distance from Keventer's)
