Althea Village - Family Hotel

Erittäin ystävällinen ja hymyilevä henkilökunta, erittäin siisti hotelli. Moitteeton palvelu. Laadukasta ruokaa runsaalla valinnalla. Erittäin siistit huoneet. Mahdollisuus varata tasapainoinen lounaslaatikko toimintaan. Ystävällinen vastaanotto, aina valmis antamaan tietoa lähialueen aktiviteeteista tai busseista.

Meillä oli erittäin mukava loma poikani kanssa (1 vuosi). Tila ja huoneet olivat erinomaisessa kunnossa ja niitä siivottiin ja huollettiin säännöllisesti. Ruoka oli erittäin maukasta ja monipuolista. Pystyimme aina löytämään jotain herkullista buffetista, erityisesti pojalleni. Vain ateriaajat olivat joskus meille hieman myöhässä. Esimerkiksi perheet voisivat nauttia illallisen klo 18. klo 19.30 sijasta. Erityisesti mainitsemisen arvoinen oli erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Erittäin mukava! Valitettavasti jouduimme viemään poikani lastenlääkäriin. Vastaanotto järjesti meille heti taksin lääkärille ja kysyi myös päivää myöhemmin, oliko kaikki kunnossa. Olimme erittäin kiitollisia heidän avustaan! Hotelli sopii erityisen hyvin perheille! Tulemme ehdottomasti takaisin!

Zalige vakantie!!! Het hotel is mooi, proper, goed onderhouden. De mensen die er werken zijn allemaal heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten is heerlijk en gevarieerd. Klein minpuntje, het zwembad was echt wel koud. Het is echt een pareltje.

Brilliant hotel, really good food and although end of season still lots of choice, very clean, friendly staff and management who made us feel very welcome. Good location with lots of beaches and within walking distance of other villages as well as main town of Chania

Althea Village Hotel is an ideal destination that offers a perfect blend of relaxation and a pleasant holiday experience. The always cheerful, accommodating, and dedicated staff undoubtedly contributes to the overall high rating of this stay. We appreciate the overall cleanliness of the entire facility. The rooms were cleaned daily, including towel changes. We had a spacious room a pool and mountains view. The room was well-maintained, renovated, with a mini fridge. Intimate bungalows are surrounded by a breathtaking olive grove and a beautiful, well-maintained garden. In Althea you can literally feel like in Greek village, feeling the peace and harmony to the surroundings. This place creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and a little bit of excitement. Every day, fans of active recreation had a diverse range of physical activities The hotel also has a modern, well-equipped, and clean gym, located in new hotel area. Regarding the food, we were satisfied with fresh food, local cuisine, variety of desserts and regular theme cuisine evenings. Special praise goes to the extra pita gyros station. The restaurant was kept clean, with an added advantage of a self-service all-inclusive drinks station. Good location of the hotel – close to the beach (just a short 10-minute walk from the beach), hotel is situated a few minutes away from the bus stop, and a maximum of 10 minutes to a larger grocery store (Lidl).

We stayed at the Althea Village hotel in June this year. What can I say, just a lovely lovely holiday. We normally book an all inclusive holiday in greece (different locations) each year but this hotel will really stick in my mind. Most resorts have "good" and "bad" bits but this resort really seemed like they had used some common sense to address a lot of the issues in other hotels. Our experience of all inclusive is that there is often issues with tables not being cleared quickly enough, poor service (waiting for ages to be served a drink / coffee at meal times). Althea have really worked "smart" to address these issues and have self service bar areas to reduce pressure on staff so they can focus on clearing plates /re-stocking food options. It just makes sense and made for such a better atmosphere overall. Other feedback: -Beaches are lovely and several to choose from - only 10 mins walk away. -Small "town" area near by with a Lidl and other supermarket should you need to buy anything. -We were initially hesitant that our room might be noisy but it was lovely and quiet. -Classes such as "yoga" available (if this is your sort of thing). -Evening entertainment and kids disco. -Good snack bar. -Friendly and helpful reception staff. -Good waiting staff. -Good choice of foods (I am veggie and husband has some dietary intolerances as we both always found something to eat). -Better than normal choice of all inclusive puddings. -Breakfast options were very good - each day a choice between either pancake/ waffles / etc. Best waffles ever at an all inclusive. -We went as a couple but could see they were going above and beyond with kids at meal times. -Easy and pleasant to get the bus from near the hotel into the main town for an evening trip out. We would deffo stay again (and we don't normally go to the same resort twice). It was just an "easy" holiday with no stress or strain or normal "niggly" issues you find at a hotel.
