I found this hotel while looking for a place that was close to the airport and the cruise port for the night before a cruise. While it is advertised that they have a free airport shuttle, we actually got a ride so we did not end up using that service. We arrived around 2pm on a Friday and the lobby was filled with people waiting for their rooms. They do have a tiny area to store luggage if really needed, but didn’t look like a lot of space. We checked in but were advised they were very busy and room might not be ready until 3pm, when the official check in time was. She looked at the list and thought maybe our room would be ready sooner in about 15 minutes. They have bottles of water available upon check in as well, and are available if needed throughout your stay at the front desk. They said they would give us a call when the room is ready. After about 30 minutes with no update we decided to wait until the check in line went down to ask about a status. Apparently at this hotel they assign specific rooms to you, so we were waiting for that specific room to be available, not just the next available room. However they were able to radio housekeeping and they just finished the room so we were able to go up at about 2:40pm or so. They do have luggage carts but there are only a few. Also the lobby is a tad small and there are only 2 people working the check in desk. The employees were generally friendly. The room is quite “cozy” and tight. The sink is in the bathroom so it makes it more difficult for larger parties to get ready. There are other mirrors in the room though. There is a desk, and a tv, and a tiny closet with an iron and not much else. It is a very standard basic room. We went out exploring to the beach and it was not too bad of a drive (20-25 minutes). When we came back the lobby was much emptier. We asked for a rollaway bed and it was promptly delivered. The rollaway does fit sideways but does make it extra tight in there. In the morning they do have complimentary breakfast. It is simple but it works. They have yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels/toast, and toppings. It does the job for a breakfast before taking off. The breakfast area for food and sitting is quite small so you may have to wait around for a table if you go at peak time. They do have a cruise terminal shuttle that is $20/person. However the port is literally 10 minutes away and Uber would probably be more cost efficient. Like I said we got a ride to the cruise port in the morning and it was an easy drive to get there. Overall, this hotel filled the need for a place to rest your head the night before embarking on your cruise.
