Sheraton Dallas Hotel

Sparkles at the front desk rocks it. She offered me a $40 club lounge upgrade since I’m a gold member. Which was half off. The lounge appetizers and free wine and breakfast were ok. Now here is the bummer. I used Marriott chat feature prior to arrival to request a higher floor room with a sofa. So when I get there the hotel never attempted to upgrade me whatsoever. Sparkles went above and beyond and gave me a room on the 25th floor of the south tower which has not been remodeled. Small rooms with a bed and single chair and worn out broken and stained draperies. So I probably won’t stay here again. Hotel is jam packed with conferences going on and so now I see why they aren’t upgrading elite members. Sparkles howeve I s amazing and truly provides amazing customer service.

Got double charged for my room, it took days to fix. Pushed my account into the negative. Not friendly to average people passing through. Confusing layout and obnoxious clientele after midnight.

Great property

I feel like I stayed at a totally different hotel than the one receiving the "recent" 4-5 star reviews. The elevator floors to my Main/Central Tower room were old, worn, peeling, stained & in definite need of an upgrade. The room was neat & tidy but also in need of a renovation since it had old, worn, stained & chipped furniture & carpeting, & the bathroom had very poor lighting. All the staff encountered were professional, polite & courteous so no personnel complaints. The lobby Draft sports bar had signs indicating a 4P open time but was still closed at 4:30 when I arrived so I went elsewhere. Upon returning at 5:45 the bar was open but had a portable cart at the doorway to block entrance with a sign reading "please wait to be seated", even though the place looked to be 80++% empty. Perhaps Sheraton is still having staffing problems following the Pandemic? I am reviewing this hotel "again" because I saw little-to-no improvement since my visit 3+ years ago. Perhaps I just keep getting the unrenovated & older rooms? However, I recently received the following message from Trip Advisor: "We would like to let you know that Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown Hotel has recently gone through a major renovation. As a result, all reviews and photos posted before the change including yours, have been removed in accordance to our policy". Thank you for your understanding! Tripadvisor Support Team

it is a typical city business hotel. The rooms are extremely large and spacious and comfortable. I personally enjoy most the very large and very well equipped gym. Breakfast was ok. There is also a very nice and good quality coffee & snack bar.
