Excellent location. Great host 郭姐who brought us to a very good restaurant 巍山高记which is near to our accommodation. She also recommended us to 非凡油条which sells delicious breakfast. She also served us nice coffee in the morning. Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay with homely vibes and wonderful host. She really was the best, warm-heartedly introducing the area and sharing honest and great food recommendations. Room was also clean, and we had such a good rest on the firm mattress and soft pillows.

I had an amazing 3 night stay at this wonderful home. Would have loved to stay longer. Great location, tranquil atmosphere in the beautiful courtyard, quite and beautiful rooms. And my host Ellen went out of her way to help with tickets, advise and more. Highly recommended :)

民宿位於古城北門，小院環境優美，如果不是特種兵旅遊可以桂花樹下喝喝茶，聊聊天，體驗慢生活，北門農貿市場就在附近，二爺推薦的飯店很好吃，贊👍🏻

老房子改造的小院，很安靜，適合慢悠悠喝茶聊天曬太陽或賞雨，可惜我們行程安排太滿了，就是回來睡個覺，地理位置離南門和環洱海巴士都挺遠的，如果特種兵旅遊就有點不方便

這院子以後會成為我每年來到大理必須住的地方，院子的老闆二哥是個部隊出來的老炮，聽他講講故事，半夜他找出一瓶酒開始喝。很放鬆，床品也很好，院子安靜到晚上可以聽到自己的心跳。不説了，找二哥借了一把吉他，出去彈唱了

This was definitely our most beautiful stay in China. Ellen and her husband took perfect care of us, providing us with very good recommendations, the most warm welcome, coffee and cookies, and an overall excellent room with porch facing the pretty garden. We honestly felt sad to leave after spending four nights instead of the two nights that we initially planned. Must stay when in Yunnan, would love to be back some day.

The host and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the entire stay warm, cozy, and just like home—exactly what I wanted for this trip. They offer great food recommendations and provide clear directions to nearby attractions. They even checked in on me when I went for a haircut nearby and hadn’t returned after a while, showing genuine care. If you’re visiting Dali, I highly recommend staying here!

Wow!! Everything was lovely - the bed. The bedding. The pillows! The shower. The towels! There was a heater and an electric mattress pad in case we got cold. And Ellen the owner was fabulous, friendly and so kind and helpful.  A very luxurious stay at a great price with very comfortable rooms.  On a quiet side street just a few minutes walk from the North Gate. .

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und man erreicht die Fußgängerzone leicht zu Fuß. Trotzdem ist es weit genug vom Geschäftstreiben entfernt, dass man nachts gut schlafen kann - also ideal. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön originalgetreu eingerichtet, sehr sauber und die Einrichtung ist hochwertig. Alle Zimmer gehen zum beschaulichen Innenhof, wo man sich entspannen und mit der Hotelbesitzerin ein Schwätzchen halten kann. Ellen ist super nett und wahnsinnig hilfsbereit. Sie hat mir nicht nur Tipps für meine Unternehmungen gegeben, sondern mich auch bei der Organisation tatkräftig unterstützt. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen!
