"We've been going to the Filippo for years. It has a certain character. It's getting on in years now and could really use a complete renovation. However, the price for an overnight stay is reasonable, and the value for money is good."

"We were guests at the Kunz restaurant for the first time and chose the following as our menu; comments on the individual courses Fish menu Cured salmon Potato pancakes Dill cream Good taste, nice plate, beautifully presented - Sorbet Delicious, fruity, beautifully presented - Pike-perch fillet Two kinds of parsnip Beurre blanc unfortunately almost inedible; Pike-perch fried crispy on the skin side; then drowned in a flour mush (sorry), unseasoned, a complete disappointment - Crème brûlée Glazed plums Mango sorbet was on the menu, instead vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries with no response Ice cream with no real vanilla taste Overall rating: Room for improvement, grade 4 (adequate) Beef carpaccio Cherry tomatoes Balsamic Parmesan Good taste, beautifully presented, absolutely recommended!! Fried prawns with lobster sauce Tagliatelle Nice plate, lots of king prawns that were somehow heated up and cooked to death; no traces of frying or cooking aromas; the lobster sauce looked like it came from a packet but had no taste. The tagiatelle, like the fish sauce, tasted of flour mush and was borderline al dente I sent almost everything back as it was unfortunately not edible for me Vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries - not actually ordered; ice cream with no real vanilla taste The highlight for me was the St. Laurent red wine with the carpaccio; a really great wine with an excellent taste and a great bouquet Overall rating: lots of room for improvement, grade 4-5 (more poor than adequate) Conclusion: for this price we would have expected more or at least an inquiry based on the feedback. We will not be visiting again."
