I called housekeeping to ask for another room, but they said there were no rooms available. Finally, I had no choice but to offer to upgrade, but they wanted to charge 30 yuan for cleaning. We hadn't even been in the room for 5 minutes, and they wanted 30 yuan for cleaning just to change rooms. Did they really have to stay in a room with a spider and a spider web? I'd pay the money, though. The third room they gave me after the upgrade had cigarette butts in the trash can, and the sink looked filthy. The power outlet by the bed was broken. I told housekeeping that the electric mosquito repellent was broken, but when he came back, he tried it in another room and said it worked. His tone was as if I was deliberately causing trouble. I told him to try it himself, and only when he found it was broken did his tone soften, and he said it was a problem with the hotel.
