"I loved the pool, and the food was great. I am not a big fan of their breakfast, but I highly recommend their vegetable and mushroom or chicken and vegetable fried rice. The price was reasonable too. The location is quieter than other places I have stayed or came upon. It is far away from karaoke shops so you don't hear much singing than other places. The room was decent and clean, even though the bathroom could be bigger with better water pressure. Overall, I would like to stay here again."

"We stayed at BV for about 7 nights (end of Oct. 2023) with a group of divers, discovering malapascua. I had a double room on the 1. floor with my girlfriend and it was really nice. Everything was clean, nicely decorated and there was truly enough space for our staff also in the bathroom. Our highlight was the huge balcony with a view into the beautiful tropical garden of the Buena Vida. The service was perfect and the stuff were always friendly and helpful: Carrying the luggage, beach towels, small sweets with some greetings every evening 😋, minibar with regular and fair prices, amazing massages (also to good prices), arranging transfers, … We would love to come back again!!!"

"The hotel was above expectations overall. The environment and sanitation were good. There's a beach right at the door and a dive shop next to it. It's probably one of the best hotels in Mama Island. The free half-hour spa experience was great. I'll definitely stay at this hotel next time I go diving in Mama Island."

"The hotel was right on the beach and had a dive shop with a nice restaurant. The room was cute with really nice toiletries and a deck area to sit on. Overall, I enjoyed the stay there. What's not mentioned is that there are no roads going to the hotel, the bikes will only take you half way down an alley but then the sand is too deep for them to travel on. You have to walk through sand for the last 200m to the hotel itself."

"Awful place to be in! By far, THE WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. I give credit to where it's due, so here are my thoughts about this property. Pros: - beachfront - affordable room with AC - each room has a terrace Cons: - the male owner EAVESDROPPED in our conversation and made unnecessary comments. He is renowned on the island for being UNKIND. Yes, you may own the hotel, but you DO NOT OWN the beach! - small rooms, really cramped, and outdated is an understatement - ugh, don't let me start with the bathrooms We are respectful travelers and we have no idea how our stay here ended on such a sour note. This place does NOT deserve anything. Thinking about our experience just makes me feel angry. NEVER AGAIN! "
