This was my first time staying at a M Village hotel in Vietnam. Honestly, my favourite part of travelling in Da Nang was to stay at that hotel.
Firstly, the hotel is located within walking distance to the beach which is super convenient. It is also ~15 min away from the airport so it is easy access and no hassle to commute there to catch your next flight.
Secondly, the amenities were so clean; it smells so good when you enter the hotel and you always have a staff welcoming you nicely. The room is so spacious and clean, which I adored. The shower so decent and shampoo/shower gels all smelt good haha. Additionally, the hotel design is luxurious and modern. I love the combo light green/grey and even think of replicating such color mix to my house.
Thirdly, we had breakfast included, which was nice and had it every morning. The food was ok but getting unlimited caphe sua da was definitely a +. Also, every day they would have a specific vietnamese dish not necessarily shown on the menu so we were able to try something different every day (e.g. one day we had mi quang, then another day we had bun bo hue). It is not necessarily the street food flavour but it is still a great way to start your day.
Lastly, I want to praise the friendliness and professionalism displayed by the staff, from the front desk team to the restaurant team. All of them were super nice, always open to share food recommendations and even hair shampoo or massage places. I even found my heaven for nails thanks to the receptionist. They also take your phone number to keep in touch with you via Whatsapps. How nice!!
However, there are a few downsides that other travelers might take into account:
- the walls are thin.... so thin that you can hear your next-door neighbor when they turn off or turn on the light. you can also hear their TV mumbling... I hope they can improve this in the future so it is fully soundproof for you to enjoy your stay
- there is no elevator. This has become a bit of a constraint towards the end of my stay as I fell badly in the night market of Da Nang and struggled to walk. Thank god there is only 1 floor but it was still a bit difficult to me. Also, the super nice staff will always help to carry your luggage but i feel really bad for them :(
