We arrived at San Marino Boutique Danang around 1:30 PM on 9 April, just after our train reached Da Nang. Although we were a bit early, we waited politely in the lobby and approached the reception desk soon after arriving.
Unfortunately, our first interaction with the receptionist was very disappointing. She was quite rude, not just in tone but in attitude. At first, I tried to be understanding, thinking maybe there was a language barrier. But it quickly became clear that English wasn't the issue … her attitude was. She made us feel unwelcome and insulted, which is not what any guest should experience upon arrival.
To be fair, the room was decent, and the facilities like the pool and gym, although small, were acceptable. Even the security guard was friendlier and more helpful than the receptionist we encountered.
Overall, while the hotel itself was okay, the poor attitude of the receptionist completely ruined our first impression. A little hospitality goes a long way — sadly, we didn’t receive that here.
