Chateau de la Lande

Le prix de la chambre est beaucoup trop cher ! La notoriété acquise sur "Chérie 25" (...) ne justifie en rien les prix demandés !! Les extérieurs sont champêtres mais manque d'entretien. La gentillesse de l'hôtesse ne justifie pas non plus le prix ! A FUIR

We spent several nights in the Marquis Suite which was fine beyond my wildest expectations. The staff were all very polished and professional. The owner/hostess. Stephanie was quite charming. They peomise an elegant and beautiful experience and they deliver.

We have returned from an amazing two night stay at Chateau de Lalande, a long awaited three year wait due to Covid but, finally it happened. We are eternally grateful to Natalia for keeping our booking safe each year and allowing us to re book each time. The chateau experience was everything we thought it would be and more, just beautiful, so surreal and we were made to feel at home straight away with a very warm welcome. Meeting Stephanie, Philip, Natalia, Amaury, Maria and the rest of the team was very special, they are all such kind and lovely people. Maria made us a special three course dinner on one of our evenings and we all agreed that it was the best meal we had eaten during our holiday, the starter was incredible, the duck main course was cooked beautifully, the final course of homemade lavender madeleines and ice cream were divine so, thank you Maria. We could instantly see why Stephanie fell in love with Lalande as it is truly exquisite, so warm and enchanting, a real fairy tale Chateau. Our rooms the Chambre Perse and Chambre des Oiseaux were clean, comfortable and spacious, everything we could have asked for and more (and of course Tea). The morning breakfast and the first evening cheese board were also excellent. We were told that Stephanie is the best host and that was true. We hope to be able to come again and to see all the new changes being made especially the new Grand Salon. Thank you Stephanie for opening up your home.

Stayed here for 2 nights as treat to celebrate birthday. Had a wonderful time and cannot recommend highly enough. Wonderful people working extremely hard. Thanks to Natalia for taking excellent care of us and Stephanie for hosting. Hope to return some day.
