"I didn’t stay at the hotel but it is in a good location for the station. I called in for breakfast at the Brocklebank. Was greeted by lovely staff and wonderful service from Tracey, she couldn’t do enough for you and all with a genuine smile. The breakfast was fresh, cooked to order on a Saturday morning. It was hot and all very nice. Would certainly come back here."

"Pretty much standard room and bathroom with increasingly common issues with the thermostatic shower control having a mind of its own and a toilet that doesn’t want to flush yet at the same time leaks into the bowl constantly. Breakfast deal was a let down with no hot buffet available (this seems to be coming more widespread) and the plated full English missing mushrooms (‘sorry not available today’) and no more tha a teaspoon of scrambled eggs (lucky as it was more like an omelette anyway). No individual yoghurt pots rather a dish of yoghurt that looked well past its sell by date. Not worth £11."
