Booked this hotel for the night before flying out for 10 nights as it made life easier to travel the day before. Worst decision of my life. The actual one night stay wasn't too bad, but upon arrival back to the country, and trying to collect our two cars from them, we realized how careless and rude the staff are. They had allowed the battery on the car to die, and not told us about it until we discovered the car dumped in a space at the back end of the carpark. I went back to reception to try to gain a complaints email/phone number but Dora, duty manager, couldn't have been less helpful. She eventually threw the world's smallest piece of paper at me and told me they would the details on the paper would be no good until the following day as it was a Sunday. The complete lack of support with this issue meant we were stood out in the freezing cold, snow on the ground and it trying to rain, waiting for the AA to come and rescue us for 3 hours. No offer of a hot drink, nothing. I had sent an email to the address offered detailing the way we had been treated, expecting a reply the following day. This did not come. I phoned the numbers on the paper slip on the Monday (late afternoon) but this was not answered at all. Eventually I found another number online and proceeded to wait on hold for nearly an hour. Eventually somebody answered the phone, who told me that the email address I had been given was for the hotel front desk and would not be picked up or dealt with. I forwarded the email to the one they gave me. They responded informing me that I needed to contact Bookings Direct and try to claim through them. I did not want a claim, just an admission of negligence to the car and possibly a genuine apology. I have not received anything of the sort, other than a 1/2 price voucher valid until December for the same hotel. Obviously this wasn't accepted as it is completely pointless. Save your time, money and effort. Book the premier inn down the road.
