Cigarette butts, dead coffee cups at the front door, rat traps everywhere , generally shabby and poorly maintained. Gap under the door allowed neighbours smoke to waft in. Heard every toilet flush, vomiting, couple fighting throughout the night. If you’re considering staying…DONT.

Bed was lumpy, hard to sleep on. Still needs substantial work after floods. Some of the Carpets appeared to have been replaced Rooms need really good clean and some doors wouldn’t close possibly due to water damage.

Great location and great value for money but a bit more attention to minor cleaning details are needed, see pic attached, someone had written in the dust on mirror before we arrived & it was still there...?

This would be hands down the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was filthy, not hot water half way through a shower, no light in front of mirror to do make up, no range hood in kitchen, mould in the fridge seals. No disappointing for $300 a night!!! Do not stay here! The manager told me to piss off when I complained about not having any hot water!!!

Although the motel is easily accessible and the rooms a very clean and presentable privacy for guests is questionable because there are two doors into the room neither of which has adequate security on the doors i.e., chain or similar. My experience was that I answered to a knock at one door (only in my underwear) but the staff member was at the other which she had already opened. She apologised but gave no reason for knocking on my door, closed the door and left.

I have stayed here at least 10 times, possibly more but my calendar doesn’t go back any further. During these years there has been at least 4 different managers. As I am a regular guest, my last booking, I assumed the status quo, not being aware of the changes the current manager has made. Unfortunately this offended them inadvertently. My recent stay was for 2 rooms as I was with my 87 year old mum. My mums room door popped open, she awoke at 3am to find her door wide open, this troubled her, I assumed user error. I checked this the next day & ensured door was locked, again it popped open, so my husband went looking for some assistance (after 8pm), none available, so we popped chairs by the door to avoid it swinging wide open, letting in bugs and leaving her feeling exposed and vulnerable. I did report this on check out, they were fully aware of this issue, due to the recent floods. I understood, but suggested if I had known, I would have requested to swap rooms with me and my mum, and put chairs against the door from the very 1st night. Managers response was “there is no-one around, it doesn’t matter”. It did matter to my 87 year old mum! Manager got quite irate and made all sorts of accusations, bring up my offensive booking expectations. Good luck.

Booked direct on day of arrival, which was quick and easy. Reception was welcoming and helpful. Complex is located in the centre of town and Our room was located at the rear of the complex in a quiet location. Room was a bit dated but clean, comfortable and functional. Would stay again if visiting Cowra.
